The environmental impact statement alone would take two or three decades to prepare and approve.
Don't worry. Leftist/socialist created monstrosities (wind farms, forced recycling, shutting down nuclear power plants, shutting down coal fired power plants, shutting down coal mines, etc.) never require decades of environmental studies or "studies" of any kind. It's all for Mother Earth and because it's "good" these acts only require some government edict and an appropriate media propaganda program to get them done.
Sometimes I almost wish that were true.
Here in my town we are trying to replace a bridge built in the 1930s. The project has been held up for over a year because the Army Core of Engineers came in to approve the Environmental Impact Study.
They found a previously unidentified wet land and called a halt to the project until it can be evaluated. The entire project is perhaps 120 acres and crosses narrow river about 60 feet below the grade of approach to the bridge, how much of a wetland could there be? The definition of a wetland has gotten out of control.
Now the contractor hired to clear and prepare the land is suing the county for the delay claiming they approved start of the work prior to getting approval.
So of course every day of delay cost the county and the state money. Government is a necessary evil at best when it is under control. Well our government is well out of control.
