and actually Cruz tied with Trump in Louisiana. Just got back from a Cruz Rally in Springfield, MO. It was planned spur of the moment and the lines were long and the crowd enthusiastic. When David Limbaugh said that for the first time in 30 yrs we have a chance to elect a true conservative that loves the constitution..the crowd roared for Cruz. My support for him is stronger now then ever.

Momentum and Money are huge in political races, and the fact that Cruz got about nine, or ten times, as many votes as Trump makes it sweeter.

This was not just a landslide, it was a SUPER LANDSLIDE.

The facility holds roughly 2,200 people. I guess that would be considered a big crowd for a church meeting.

Interesting. Rubio will probably use the DC victory to claim he's still a contender, though I imagine the entire "Republican voters of DC" could caucus in a phone booth.

I do enjoy seeing that Trump won only 1 delegate today, with the Trumpbots claiming the backlash from Trump's cancelled rally would be a "game changer" for him and result in across-the-board Trump victories.

Oh my. Tuesday will prove horrible for Cruz. Will lose Ohio and Florida and more. He does win little noticed ones but when all eyes are front and center, he falters.

>>What I am saying is that Cruz seems to be strong in Caucuses. Trump seems to be strong where voters actually go to polls.

That makes sense based on what I’ve seen here on FR. The Cruzers cajole, insult, and threaten anyone who doesn’t support “The Face of God”. According to them, if you don’t go with Cruz, you:

Hate Jesus
Hate Reagan
Love abortion
Are Low-information
Are a closet liberal
Park illegally in handicap spots AND leave your dog in the car
DVR Dancing With The Stars

Wow, I do not remember saying any of those.

Are you sure you are not exaggerating the facts just a tad bit like always?

Yep...I misspoke.

Cruz now has nine: Iowa, Alaska, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Idaho, Maine, Wyoming, and Guam.

Trump has fifteen: New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Virginia, Michigan, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Tennessee, Kentucky, Arkansas, Hawaii, and Nevada

This would be more interesting if they had an actual election for regular voters in Wyoming, instead of “county conventions,” which are designed specifically to make it easier for the party elite to chose their candidate. That is why well under 1,000 people voted in the entire state. Beyond that, this is only part of Wyoming’s very complex process of selecting delegates. They do part 2 in April.

Wyoming is still in the (long) process of selecting their delegates. These are just the results of the “county conventions” part of the process, so Cruz has not won the state yet. Also, Guam voted primarily for “unbound” delegates, not for Cruz’s delegates, so it is illegitimate to claim that he won Guam also. He has actually won 7 contests so far.

My mistake. Wyoming doesn’t finish its delegate selection process until May.

I said “them”, not “him”. I’m not exaggerating. You just don’t understand pronouns.

Tsk, tsk. When Trump supporters twist the truth, like liberals, it just might strengthen the fact that Donald is a liberal.

At least be honest. You can’t win your fight with a broken sword.

Trump will lose Ohio, but might win FL, unless Rubio bows out. I saw a thread on FR where Rubio did say he would drop out, if the polls showed him losing in FL, but that remains to be seen.
