True, but it’s much harder without a witness.

You won’t have a lying POS embellishing his story about how you shot him for no reason.

The moral of the story is,if you have to shoot an intruder finish him.Indeed. Sad. But true.
To: skyman
Oh, the old "Mah frin' says I kin have this tee tee. Oh, snap I must be in the wrong house, boss..." trick. Yeah, I'm sure that story still works in California.
What California needs is a law that says the shot-up criminal can't file a civil suit if their shooting was justified. Nevada has that. Not California. Too bad there are overwhelming numbers of pro-criminal voters and politicians who would prevent such a proposition or bill from becoming law.

BS. The administrator of the estate can sue for wrongful death. Well, I'm of the opinion that if you're going to have to pay either way, GET YOUR MONEY'S WORTH!

LOL. You sound like my ex-husband. It’s easier to explain a dead body than an injured intruder.

Yep. Empty the entire magazine into em...just to be sure. Was there ever a doubt?
Also, having a couple of dawgs, ANY of these: Rottweiler, German Shepherd, pit bull will do A LOT to discourage any unwanted visitors.
To: Mr. K
so there was no lawyer willing to work on this WITHOUT charging him $85K??There are a number of organizations that provide insurance for just such an incident. USCCA is but one.
