Hey PeHosi, lets see when decaying material becomes liquified into a substance like oil, it emits a gaseous substance like natural gas. In actuality, natural gas could be considered fossil fuel.

Wealth is, at its most fundamental level, measured by how much energy you can command. The more energy you have access to the richer you are, individually, as a business, as a society.

This effort to make energy less available, less reliable, and more expensive is at a level of societal insanity comparable to that which overwhelmed the Xhosa in 1856 when the prophetess of doom, Nongqawuse, convinced them that salvation lay in destroying all their cattle and crops. It will not turn out well.

Turning our backs on cheap, plentiful energy from any source is just as bad a move.

The author is mistaken. The US could be more than 50% carbon free in 15 years without any solar or wind. Nuclear power is the safest, cleanest and most reliable source of energy. There are reactor designs which cannot ever melt down or be converted to weapons, and can burn today’s waste as fuel.

We are missing a golden opportunity to provide the world with cheap, clean, safe power to stimulate global growth. If I was in charge the only foreign aid the US would give other countries is to build them such reactors.
