In his 1966 campaign for California governor, Republican Ronald Reagan promised to “to clean up the mess at Berkeley.” Reagan was referring to the unrest prevalent not just at the University of California, Berkeley, but on college campuses throughout state. Students and faculty alike were engaged in protests, demonstrations, and strikes related to issues such as the draft, civil rights, discrimination, and women’s liberation.

Supposedly his picture along with Jane Fondas is occasionally put on the targets in towns with both significant numbers of Vietnam vets and gun ranges. Used to think he was a real genuine conservative until a friend educated me somewhat angrily. Boy...was I ever fooled.

I was staying in Berkeley California in the spring /summer of 1969 when the Berkeley radicals kicked off the so-called Peoples Park riots . Reagan’s response instant and it was strong . The Calif Nt; Guard was deployed to the streets , complete with armored PC’s and concertina barbed wire and uniformed troops with fixed bayonets . Overhead , helos tracked riot crowd concentrations and hit them with tear gas from the choppers . Crowds were rounded up , en masse and ARRESTED! Then sent to a huge stadium in Alameda near Oakland . They were held there for days and not easily released . All those released had been charged with misdemeanors or felonies . THIS is what needs to happen again with the anti=Trump rioters today .
If dipshit Obama won’t order it then the military should depose him , take charge and bring order to our country , until we can elect a REAL President ....
If any public figure even suggested that today, Cruz and Rubio would immediately attack him.
