natural born citizen needs no clarification by Immigration law or any other clarification. It merely clarifies him as a citizen.

It clarified him as a US citizen BY BIRTH. Read carefully and you will find no assertion that any such clarification was 'needed'. But, considering all the crap people seem to believe about natural born citizenship, a clarification was certainly useful.

The fact that Congress had to make a ruling on a citizen born with certain circumstances clarifies they are a citizen, period. A natural born citizen needs no such clarification. That is why they specifically made the reference to a natural born citizenship as a special requirement. With a natural born citizen there is no question as to their citizenship at all.

With your loose interpretation an anchor baby is a natural born citizen. That is not the case either. They are citizens by virtue of the manipulation of the 14th Amendment to bring Jus Soli to be interpreted as the law, though that was certainly not the intent of the 14th Amendment.
