The Bible foretells that in the last days before the return of Jesus, an international religious figure will rise on the scene. This religious figure will look like a self-sacrificing, philanthropist; a real lover of man and the earth! He will seem as harmless as a lamb, but when he speaks, he speaks like a ravenous dragon to those who understand scripture. He will not be an ardent follower of Jesus Christ and have little or no interest in Christ's words, but rather will direct everyone to worship another political figure who will be promoted to help solve the world's problems like; Global Warming, Middle East Conflict, Racism, Consumerism, Capitalism, and White Privilege.

Somehow this religious figure is so intertwined with politics and the economic system, he is able to create a new economic purchasing scheme where all must have the the political figure's mark on their person in order to show loyalty to the "new world system". The Bible is also clear that whoever receives this "mark" will be damned to hell, with no hope of redemption. I am not sure if Pope Francis IS this religious figure. If not, he is certainly a wonderful forerunner. Every time he opens his mouth, he continues his foray into the world political and economic orders with his consistent promotion of homosexuality, Allah as God of the Bible, and Marxism/Socialism betray his "inner dragon"...

Revelation 13: 11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. 12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein * to worship the first beast, whose * deadly wound was healed. 13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, 14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. 15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak , and cause that as many as would * not worship the image of the beast should be killed *. 16 And he causeth all, both small and great *, rich and poor *, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand *, or in their foreheads: 17 And that no man might buy or sell , save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

I have for many years on FR been critical of the naive, dumb Jews in Israel for thinking they are going to be able to talk their way into a peaceful solution with the Muslims.

Now I see other religious figures want to embrace that fatal idea of getting along with Muslims through dialogue.
To me these naive people don't understand Islam, and what Allah and Muhammad want done to us Kafirs.(Infidels)
These naive people also ignore the last 1400 years of History on how Muslims respond to us hated Infidels. -Tom

The biggest clue that the pope is a deceiver is that he lies about Climate Change!

I know it’s going to come across as weak and unpersuasive, but: the current occupant of the papacy is NOT representative of what the Catholic Church represents. If nothing else, it’s a testament to the Church’s Divine foundation that She’s able to *survive* disaster areas such as Jorge Bergoglio sitting on the Chair of Peter.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ll go back to popping aspirin and hiding under my bed until that man vacates the office...

I totally understand. I agree, that there are millions of good Roman Catholic folk who are grieved with the current state of the Church. However, the Church Dogma is that the Pope has Papal Infallibility. As long as there are Dogmas that grant this type of license, much evil will continue to occur. Every Catholic must choose between God's Word and the Word of man (this Pope and many of the Leadership).

The Reformation of the 1500s proved that the Roman Catholic Church does not change from outside or within. Additionally, the homosexual clergy scandal that has swept the church is a big sign that there are moral and spiritual problems. Thank God we have alternatives to the Roman church (including Bible Studies)...

However, the Church Dogma is that the Pope has Papal Infallibility.

Lots of people misunderstand that dogma, actually; it doesn't apply to anything that this pope has said. The Church's charism of infallibility is a "negative" protection by which the pope (and the Church councils) is prevented from establishing any formal, universally binding teaching (i.e. dogma) which is in error. Even saintly popes can make mistakes (and often do), and some popes (a relative handful) have been notoriously wicked sinners who led millions of people into confusion, error, and even sin (and I tremble at their likely judgment before God); neither of those affects infallibility in the least. Infallibility is the Holy Spirit's promise of protection for the Church, in which the Church will be prevented from ever proclaiming an error as "universal doctrine/dogma, binding on all the faithful, on pain of heresy".

As long as there are Dogmas that grant this type of license, much evil will continue to occur.

Infallibility doesn't work that way. Think of infallibility as a guarantee at a nuclear reactor, that the core will never melt down (i.e. it has an infallible failsafe); that doesn't prevent someone from releasing poison gas into the plant which kills everyone, or from setting off a separate bomb, etc. Infallibility is a real blessing, but it isn't a universal "cure-all", by any means.

Every Catholic must choose between God's Word and the Word of man (this Pope and many of the Leadership).

That's absolutely true, as said... but we need to be careful not to set up a false dichotomy between what the Bibel teaches and what the Church actually teaches (as opposed to the mental meanderings, interviews, and other disasters of the present pontificate).
