Perfectly stated. My feeling exactly. I was tempted several times in this race to put that one event aside, but as he has floundered in recent weeks, I realized he simply did not live up to what he promised and does not have what it takes to run for or serve as president. This process is a grueling one, but as someone stated in recent days on FR, the process separates those with the ability from those who don’t. Rubio got pushed out of contention by 2-3 better all-around candidates.
Well written! Reading this, Rubio should be up nights riddled with guilt.
A bit late, Trump will certainly be the Republican nominee.
