Mike Lee. check, Glen Beck. huh? Meghan McCain. wtf? Linda Graham. No way. Dubious list of principled conservatives. Aside from Lee (the only guy in the senate who can stand him enough to endorse him), I’m not seeing principled conservatives.
I believe Cruz is not going to utilize any additional resources in Florida, basically relinquishing the state to Trump-——http://www.cnn.com/2016/03/10/politics/ted-cruz-super-pac-media-buy-florida/index.html
Fantastic! This endorsement is so liberating! Now I don’t have to worry if Trump is going to peak at 49%!
I know that Ted Cruz will be able to pull this off and save America from being made great again!
If you listened to Mike Lee’s endorsement as I did today it had overtones of the Hanoi Hilton videos from Nam. He sounded less than enthusiastic and was speaking in a monotone. LOL!
(Homer Simpson) "Whoo-hoo!"
You forgot Mark Levin, Jack Welch, Carly Fiorina to name some recent endorsements.
He always sounds like that. That’s why he’s not electable as President.
Did anybody hear that the early vote totals from Florida so far were: Trump 47%, Rubio 22%, with 850,000 votes cast?
If Rubio gets out before Tuesday, things might go better for Cruz. But if Rubio gets out right after, Cruz will pocket a lot of remaining wins and go into a contested convention with about the same or more delegates than Drump.
A good political play to lock the Mormon vote. Cruz lost them in Nevada, he can’t take that chance in Utah. I never expected Utah to go for Trump, done too much business there and know the political atmosphere.
That’s the problem. The only reason Ted does well is if people drop out? Not really encouraging. He should be able to no matter how many candidates are in. Trump is.
Trump is going to kill it in Fla. No worries. ;-)
Sounds like he’s a little hesitant to endorse Felito also since its been about 7-8 mos since he announced. You would have thought his BFF would have been on the announcement stage with him. You would at least think Lee would have endorsed before Stabby the Klown. :-)
Cruz tied or won the most delegates in 8 states.
Trump was beaten or tied in 3 additional states.
Trump won 11 states.
Trump is already losing or tying in half the states. When this changes to winner-take-all and everyone but Cruz drops out, Trump is NOT going to win the nomination outright and may trail Cruz in delegates by the convention.
At least an 80% chance this is going to a contested convention. Maybe 12% chance Trump wins it outright and 8% chance Cruz does.
Senator Sessions endorsed Donald Trump.
LOL! I needed a good laugh. Felito has won a handful of small caucuses. Never won one good primary. He’s toast after the 15th. In a moment of desperation he signed his soul over to the Bushes. That kind of kills the outsider myth. Trump would have to just be butt a@@ stupid not to beat him like a drum with it tonight at the debate.
Can’t help it. If 35% of the country were Martians and a Martian was running, he’d get 35% of the vote. Donald’s the closest thing we have to a Martian running.
Constitutional conservatives are always a minority in government. That’s why it wasn’t easy for Reagan to get nominated either. The country doesn’t understand conservatism and why we need it because of the left-wing stranglehold on education and the media. So it takes a little bit of luck to get one nominated. Trump is Cruz’s x-factor...the only person out there who could’ve got establishment money and power to hold their nose and vote for Cruz. Trump is God’s gift to Cruz. It’ll be a squeaker but Cruz is the likely nominee to come out of the likely contested convention.
Trump for President.
