As reported earlier this week, a Palestinian terrorist stabbed to death American Taylor Allen Force while he was on a trip to Israel. Force was a graduate of West Point Academy and served two tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. He was also an Eagle Scout.
As a Vanderbilt graduate student, Force was in Israel after leaving the Army. Those who knew him, and those who didn't, are devastated he is gone. Palestinians are celebrating his murder in the streets of Gaza and the West Bank and the terrorist who carried out the attack is being celebrated as a martyr by Palestinian political leadership.
David Simpkins, a friend of Force and a fellow West Point graduate, wrote the following The Times of Israel:
He laughed and smiled a lot in the classes at West Point. He sat behind me, next to me, or across from me during our first two years at the United States’ premier institution. He was very mild-mannered, sharp, and professional. I couldn’t think of someone who was more of a model of “America’s finest” than him. He was handsome, articulate, brilliant, and just so GOOD. I can’t think of a moment where he wasn’t exuding an aura of pure positive energy. He was as honest and heartfelt as they come, but now he’s dead.
Taylor Force was murdered in cold blood by a West Bank Palestinian. Hamas announced that they’re celebrating their martyrs last night. As I write this, there are parties from Gaza to Ramallah continuing all day, and probably tonight. It’s not every day they get a former US Army officer who served in Iraq and Afghanistan. For them, this is a great boon.
Taylor is not dead because of Israel. It’s not Israel’s fault for occupying the land. It’s not Israel’s fault for making the Palestinians do this. There are over 60 territorial disputes worldwide, and most lead to absolutely no bloodshed whatsoever. It’s the Palestinians fault for murdering Taylor.
Josh Springer, another West Point grad who didn't know force, wrote the following on his Facebook page:

Meanwhile, the State Department issued a statement condemning Force's killing, but has failed to hold Palestinian terrorists directly responsible.

In a logical world the response to this would be simple.
Cut all aid and funding for any nation that celebrates this behavior.
We should not give a penny to Palestine. Period.
We should rescind our ridiculous deal with Iran after their recent antics. Period.
How will any nation or group of people respect the U.S. when they do things like this even and we do nothing but have our diplomats respond with strongly worded statements.
It is a farce.
I am on the fence about which candidate, but I eagerly await the response by our top two candidates to this. This should be a solid week of soundbites that demonstrate a foreign policy that says - act like an enemy in an uncivilized manner and we will treat you as an enemy. In fact, I would go even farther - if the UN does not sanction Palestine I would withdraw a large portion of our funding.
Somewhere in the last few decades our nation lost it’s stick. Now the world just views us as a nation of carrots.
This is the SAME PLO leadership that our leaders have called “MODERATES” since 1993’s Oslo Peace Accords.
The same PLO leadership that has, since then, been called the PA or Palestinian Authority.
This is the same PLO that signed peace with Israel and then launched Intifada II where a thousand Israelis were murdered in cold blood and another 5,000 or so maimed.
This is the same PLO that was under the leadership of Yassir (Nobel Prize winning) Arfart.
This is the same PLO that fought a civil war with it's brothers in HAMAS and lost the Gaza strip to those...”Extremists”.
This is the same PLO that cries everyday that it lives under “occupation” while trying to shoot, stab, run over or generally kill any Israeli mothers, children or old ladies that happen to cross their path, as unfortunately Taylor Force did, just strolling along the Tel Aviv boardwalk.
This is the same PLO that passed out sweets on 9/11.
This is the same PLO we have trained and funded since 1993 and helped foist on a stupid Israel leadership.
This is the same PLO we fund and ask, to stop the incitement for the last 23 years.
This is the same PLO we support in the UN.
This is the same PLO that puts a female suicide terrorist up as their poster woman for International Women's Day.
This is the same PLO that has convinced John Kerry's State Dept. that the “TWO-State solution” is a new and unique way of achieving a “lasting Peace”, when in fact it is the 1947 Partition Plan all over again.
This is the same PLO that murdered 11 Israeli athletes at the Munich 1972 Olympics.
The horrors, bloodshed and heinous crimes this entity has carried out should have assigned them to the trash heap of history yet, the West keeps propping them up.
Enough is enough! When we we ever learn that these Paleostinians do not want peace but rather military victory over our ally, Israel???

It’s outrageous that we give a “government” that celebrates such acts a dime, much less billions.
Trump has the right answer about any visitor from any muslim affected country: find a way to vet them all.

In close quarters a knife is ever bit if not more deadly than a handgun. They are also much more difficult to detect. A “box cutter” blade can be easily concealed and still get past airport security on a regular basis. That is why all of the 9/11 hijackers were using simple knives. These enemies against civilization must be called out for what they are, identified and isolated. These peoples are being raised to hate us and they are reproducing much faster than we are. Now is not the time to have a wide open southern border.
This will never get a response from the WH-this young man is an example of the type of people this administration abhors. Now the flaked out hippie deserter Bergdahl is more to their liking.
Only one correction I would make to the heartfelt sympathies expressed. The only occupiers of the land are the manufactured and ahistorical “palestinians”.
Has Obama blamed the victim yet?
The people who do the killing in Palestine .. are not just Arabs living there. They have an ISIS unit .. and in case you saw the article here on FR - 22,000 names have been released showing the members of ISIS who are resident in Palestine.
And, if there is such a list; then it certainly could include one of the ISIS terrorists who most certainly could have been tracking the whereabouts of an American who was in Iraq/Afghanistan.
And, this could mean that all Americans will now be targeted in Israel.
RIP, brave American.
