What was on at 10 pm? (please say it was Megyn’s show!)
To: Drew68
What he was doing was giving a giant middle finger to Mitt Romney. I loved every minute of it.

I’m glad they played the whole thing. I was one of those who tuned out after it was over.

We stopped watching Fox and all other TV news stations some time ago. Too much bias on their stations.

When Trump is on, I always try CSpan first. They’ve been pretty good about coverage, and I don’t have to listen commentary. I don’t have to give a single rating to Fox or any other channel.

Just think of how many voters the GOP will lose if they succeed in destroying Trump and getting one of their boys (Cruz, Kasich, Rubio, Mitt, etc) nominated....
The recent poll that Hillary would smash Trump, but Cruz could beat her, is erroneous. It is one of those fake polls designed to drive voters away from Trump. No poll this far in advance of the November election can predict who will beat whom.
None of the others (Cruz, Kasich, Rubio, Mitt, etc) expanded the 'tent' the GOP establishment has supposedly been crying for for 2 decades.
Trump has expanded the tent and has brought in voters in all demographics. Those 'new' voters are not going to jump to the next-in-line GOP candidate, if Trump is not the nominee.
Deep down, however, the GOPestablishment don't really care who wins, as long as it is someone who will maintain the status quo. The GOPe don't really care about being in the majority -- that means they actually have to put out some effort and govern. They are fat and happy in the minority, because they still get a turn at the money troughs and still get invited to the power get-togethers in the DC area.

The press had to hate it.
One female commentator/analyst (CNN, IIRC) was asked why they cover Trump so much. She responded that they have to because he makes headlines.
I had Trump's speech on mute but noticed it went on and on. I chuckled and thought, he is still playing the media like a Stradivarius and they are eating it up.

So far, since that speech, I havent heard anyone mention the Trump Steaks, Trump Water.....etc. Yup he completely took that line of attack off the table. Someone accuses you of being a poor businessman? Show that they're completely lying. Everyone knows it's a complete lie by virtue of his wealth and fame but this just seals the deal.
To: DouglasKC
“Yup he completely took that line of attack off the table.”
Right, the second time he’s effectively done that.
The first was when Hillary called him a “sexist”.

I remember my father in law dealing with hearing aids. What a pain in the head! One good thing, when his wife nagged or was being mean, he could turn her off. : )
