Rubio: 'I am not dropping out of this race'

Presidential candidate Marco Rubio on Thursday night insisted he is not dropping out of the GOP primary, despite reports that he was considering doing so just days before his home state's primary.

Asked by Fox News's Megyn Kelly if he was preparing to drop out, the junior senator from Florida said, "No. I am not dropping out, I am fighting all the way through. We’re going to win Florida."

He added that reports of him dropping out before Tuesday's winner-take-all primary in Florida, which will award 99 delegates, are "100 percent, categorically false."

"We win Florida on Tuesday and this election changes completely, and it gives us the momentum to go forward to win the nomination," he said.

Then we'll just enjoy watching your political career end by a self-inflicted ass-kicking. Gang of 7, now. Jus sayin'!

Presidential candidate Marco Rubio on Thursday night

Tonight, March 9, is Wednesday night, not Thursday night.

Little Marco went kamikaze on Trump. Rubio has destroyed his political future. Had he dropped out early he could have been a player in 4 years and stayed relevant. He loses his home state by 20 points and he is political burnt toast.

He likely cut some deal to get a do-nothing lobbyist job in return for his going full chihuahua mode.

Why does he keep saying that he’s going to win Florida. It’s creepy.

At this point I can see the GOPe urging him to stay in the race in an effort just to siphon away enough delegates to try and keep Trump from attaining the 1237 delegates needed for an uncontested nomination.

Good Marco. Remind your voters when it REALLY comes election time that you are a loser.

Reading where they are afraid his delegates could help put Trump over the top on a first ballet if Rubio suspends. So now all of this talk from Rubio and Kasich makes more sense about going all the way to the convention. They don't want to release their delegates. Give this a read: Explains why.
