That big metallic soccer ball of doom that you see in front of the “Young General” appears to be a compact nuclear implosion device, which is a more complicated alternative than the much more cumbersome gun assembly style nuclear devices, and larger implosion devices, that were thought to have been the limit of North Korea’s technical know-how.

Did you read the article? Most people who know think it is the real deal. And that their last test was a sort of supped up fission explosion but far short of fusion.

I follow the Curtis LeMay school of nuclear deterrence. We never should have allowed any other country to produce nuclear weapons.
Having failed to stop Russia and China, we should have made doubly certain that no Islamic or Kook country ever get their hands on them. We should have smashed the Iranian revolution in 1979, but we had President P*SSY back then.
We should have told North Korea, "Try it, and we will waste you."
If this proceeds as all signs indicate, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama will go down as the bloodiest fools in world history.
The Carter presidency has already cost the lives of a Million Human beings, and I shall not be surprised that Clinton and Obama's death toll will be magnitudes higher.
