If Cruz is in on this scam, he’s just lost my vote.

I was leaning Trump but could support Cruz.
But not if he joins in on the GOPe treachery.

This would be the GOPe’s worst nightmare.

Cruz should stay in until the votes are cast.

Anything can happen.

Let’s just be sure nobody changes the rules.

Cruz is delusional if he thinks they’d pick him at a brokered convention.

Whooaaaa....help me with CruzLogic here. My analytical skills are failing. A brokered convention is not okay. A contested convention is okay.

But wouldn't a contested convention end up being a brokered convention with rules being written as they went along?

I’ve said all along, Cruz would be the Judas Iscariot to hand the nomination to the GOPe’s chosen water boy.

As insurgent candidates Donald Trump and Cruz continue to run the table in the primaries

I hardly think losing 17 of 24 primaries/caucuses constitutes Cruz running the table.

Saint Ted is going to be in for a big surprise when Mittens takes the nomination from him. Wow, he is naive.

Trump could easily win a contested convention by Nominating Cruz for SCOTUS to get his endorsement.

The lawyer’s nuanced lexicon. Yeah, folks are going to be just fine with Cruz as the brokered, uh, contested candidate of the GOPe. LOL

Good grief.

I'd rather not have a brokered convention either, but just what the hell is wrong with what Cruz said?

If all of you Trump supporters know that there is a difference between a "brokered" convention and a "contested" convention, but you are still trying to tar Cruz with this, then you are dishonest.

If you don't know that there is a difference, educate yourselves.

There is a push going on since yesterday to change the language. They are saying "contested" convention instead of "brokered" convention.

A contested convention is now supposedly when the candidates whose names are entered into nomination fight it out for delegates in later round voting.

A brokered convention is now supposedly when party insiders work out behind closed doors who will swoop in and be the nominee.

If the party doesn't mess with rule 40, and Cruz and Trump are the only candidates who meet the threshold to be entered into nomination, then sure - - let them each make the case for crossover delegate votes in additional rounds of voting.

However, if the party makes an 11th hour change to the rules to allow only one state winners instead of eight (Rubio), or eliminate the rule altogether (Romney, Bush), then it is effectively a stolen convention.

Another reason we don't need another lawyer in the White House.

Cruz was against a "brokered" convention, but suddenly isn't against a "contested" convention. Very convenient now that the GOPe sees they can use him to take down Trump and are going to open their coffers to him massively.

It makes him sound like Clinton at his height of dissembling.

Note: I finally put on a new tag line after four long years......
