Cruz wins in Idaho

Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz is projected to win the Idaho primary.

NBC News called the race for Cruz just before midnight Eastern — less than an hour after polls closed in the state. Fox News called it moments later.

The state’s result was in great doubt leading into Tuesday's primary because of a lack of polling in the state. Most pundits had shied away from making a prediction.

The Texas senator was endorsed by Rep. Raul Labrador (R-Idaho), an influential member of the conservative House Freedom Caucus.

Idaho awards 32 delegates on a proportional basis.

If Cruz does not win Ohio or Florida there is no way in 40 hells he can get the nomination. The ONLY REASON he won a primary last night was because he was the only one that showed up in Idaho and for three weeks saturated the airways with anti-Trump lies. I live in Eastern Washington and I saw them every day. Before he showed up for the primary Cruz had never sat foot in Idaho. If Trump had wanted to carry the state he would have won going away. It was irrelevant to him. He still got 12 of the delegates, to 20 for Cruz.

Which shows the only path left for the GOPe to stop Trump short of a brokered convention. Before next Tuesday, preferably today, get Kasich and/or Rubio to suspend their campaign(s) and endorse Cruz.

Snowball, meet Hell.

Cruz didn't vote for TPA. He voted against it. But then you knew that already. Still lying about Ted Cruz

Not only did cruz vote for TPA during closure, the only vote that mattered, he worked hand in and with ryan to get it passed in congress. Actually going so far as to pen a full page op-ed in the NYT promoting TPA in an effort to pressure his peers to support it. Add to that, cruz had the gull to come to the microphones after the closure vote and crow that we had to pass TPA so we could find out what is in TPP. Spin it anyway you want, those are just the facts. Educate yourself before you embarrass yourself even more.

Well you do have Jeb Bush’s brother Neil now working for the Cruz campaign, so there is that...
