Because Southerners have figured out that Trump can get the economy roaring again; which will allow all those displaced Yankees and NoVA Beltway Bandits to move back North where they came from!
(Disclaimer: I was born in Connecticut ...but I’ve lived 90% of my life in the South and consider myself an adoptive Southerner ...but, I am definitely NOT the type of know-it-all Yankee that comes down South and immediately wants to change everything to resemble where they came from. I’ve learned to talk slower, listen more, say ya’ll properly, hunt wild turkeys and realize that “well bless your heart” is not a term of endearment.)
