Does our establishment actually do any good at all ? Anywhere ?
That Lurch sure knows how to drive a hard bargain.
Lurch went to Paris and all I got was this lousy T-shirt with a mushroom cloud on it.
“Deal? What deal?” - President Cruz or Trump.
They will NOT walk away. Number 1 reason is that obummer has sworn to protect them against any Israeli attack, be it lethal or cyber!
How many times have they broken the deal an not a word from obummer? So no, both of these scumbags won’t walk away from their deal.
“They cant walk away, Obama wont let them, even if he has to crawl to Tehran.”
Why not? He crawls to everyone else. Besides, they’ve already gotten everything they were after.
And yet according to obama and the rep controlled congress it is in fact a deal. A done deal!
Oh, NO! Say that it isn’t true! Iran would never break a treaty! /s
Is anyone surprised?
“They cant walk away, Obama wont let them, even if he has to crawl to Tehran.”
Yeah, then he will draw another line in the sand, huh? ;-)
This “administration” has ruined everything that it has touched.
what makes u think Obola screwed it up. I think him and the devil Jarret knew all along. Now they can put up an angry face in public.
This was planned to lift the billions and the sanctions
Trump might have something to say about this!
People who blame the Corker bill don't understand that Obama could legally have lifted sanctions even in the absence of the bill. It was a marginal improvement over no bill at all.
Under the Constitution the U.S. Senate had a say in foreign policy and treaties needed to be approved by 2/3 vote.
But this Republican controlled Senate doesn’t want to have to assume its responsibility.
The Corker Bill gave Obama the political cover of working with the Senate and not acting unilaterally.
The Corker Bill was far worse than no bill at all.
What was this “marginal improvement” that you speak of?
0b0la lifts the sanctions on his own, over the sure objections of congress, who can then batter him with it when things go south, like they are.
Or, for reasons yet to be clear, he somehow manages to get a Republican congress to sign off on this deal, to approve lifting the sanctions in return for what, exactly?
There is no length too far for you to go in your never ending justification and support for Ted Cruz and his voting record.
Why your allegiance to this man is so unwavering is a complete mystery to many people here.
There is no reason for them to hold up their end of the bargain.
There is, by design, no way to get that money back.
Cruz is not my preferred candidate because I think he'll have a very difficult time winning the general election. Check out my posting history if you care to. I'd prefer Rubio but he shot himself in the foot too many times. Cruz is just my fallback at this point. If it makes you feel any better, the behavior of Trump supporters here is a good part of the reason I going Cruz and not Trump.
But a bill that passes with 99 votes probably isn't the end of the world the legislatively ignorant believe it to be. It essentially just put a delay on the bill, and that was it. Absent the bill, there wouldn't even have been a 60 day delay.
The bigger MSM outlets will downplay this. They’ll give it the “Nothing to see here, move on” treatment.
This and North Korea are probably the two biggest failures of Western diplomacy since the end of WWII. And almost no one is upset about it—or even talking about it.
Good. Let Iran walk away and the U.S. will not pay them the billions of dollars Barry promised. This is a win-win scenario.
See Clinton/Albright North Korean Deal for reference
“Or did he?” ‘Nuff said.
