Cruz is such a great talker that I am sure that he can talk himself out of his *deeply held convictions* for the right amount of money. Beware a slick smart lawyer with a Harvard degree. You know how the media and elites like to say they should have stood up to Trump long ago. Well, I think the big mistake was letting Cruz ever portray himself as anti-establishment. He's antiestablishment to the point it serves his pro-Ted agenda. Everything he did in the senate was usually before a hot mic or for individual coverage. Nothing ever made any changes, but it sure did get Ted's name out there.

He was aiming for the presidency when he ran for the Senate and well before that. I agree. There is quite a case that can be made for that and I think many Cruz supporters are starting to realize that.
