538.com Nate Silver’s group, gives Trump a 93-97 percent chance of winning Michigan tomorrow. We’ll see...

I really don’t think so. I know people exactly like this. They are fed up with the democrats as well. Some issues cross both sides of the aisle, immigration being one and Trump has struck a forceful chord with many people from across the political spectrum. Those in the middle, the independents are looking for someone who is not a fire breathing conservative and Trump fits that bill while still offering conservative principles. There is never an ideal candidate but Trump will pull in some democrats, no doubt about it - it is happening.

“Can we stop with the knee jerk hysteria and trying returning to thinking around here?”

Why did you post that to me?

“The big question is....who will they vote for in the general.”

I live in Maryland home of the liberal Democrats. People who are life long liberals are now saying they like Donald Trump.

Eight years of Obama finally got them sick of the liberal Democrats.

They don't like Hillary. But they say they want Trump.

Very unionized, but making a comeback. Not through steel, but through software companies. It won’t ever be the size it was when I was there, but it’s not completely dead yet.

They are voting Trump to help Hillary. They do it every election. They won’t be voting for Trump in the GE.

I know many of you think Kasich would be a great VP choice for Trump but I disagree. The unions will come out big against Kasich and that will hurt Trump in blue collar union states like OH, MI, PA, NJ, NY, IL, WV & WI.

“The Democrats can’t lose in this election.:

Democrats will never lose as long as people like you keep talking down Republicans whom vote in a way you don’t approve of. Dems need you to keep it up!

I agree with you. Are we supposed to believe that thousands of Dems are that motivated to switch parties for the primary then switch back for the general? I don’t see that kind of passion in the Dem party right now.

I know without a doubt that Trump is appealing big time to blue collar union Democrats. My father is one and Trump is the choice of coal miners in WV many who voted for Obama at least once in 2008. Ohio has a huge number of working class voters and they are going to go Trump.

Those nasty naysayers who are not lifelong Ohioans should listen to those of us who are; we know our state! Kasich will have a difficult time in Ohio. Many voting for Trump are doing it because they do not want Kasich to win Ohio. Paybacks are hell!

People are funny and old habits die hard. At this point it’s all speculation anyway.

Okay but they don’t have to switch back for the general. Everyone’s allowed to vote in the general. Party affiliation is irrelevant.
