Thank you for admitting that you are a preprogrammed Troll. The problem with Trump supporters is that a lot of them fit this description, and that will only cause even more people to be repelled by Trump and his supporters.

There will NEVER be a wall built on the southern border; the EPA and enviro-commie groups will see to that.

And when did Trump do this? Would like to see it with my own eyes.

Steyn didn't say, but I got the impression it was some time ago, maybe even before Trump was even a candidate.

Haha! IKR? lol.

It is a silencing technique. Trolls who use it think that if a person can be lead to believe that how fast they post is a negative thing, then they can be made to post less.

All they want is to not have to hear what they don’t want to believe. In other words, they don’t want to hear truth and facts about Trump.

The problem with your post is that none of what you are talking about has actually happened. Why not wait at least until Trump actually does something that is not to your liking before you crucify him. he's not even in office yet.
Admittedly Trump is a work in process, that's clear.

Now Steyn is trying to say that Cruz doesn’t really mean it when he says truth and facts about Trump. Steyn didn’t provide any proof for this assertion though. In fact, Steyn admitted that he doesn’t know Cruz at all. So why then make this assertion, other than to prop up Trump.

Steyn is right however that Trump only says what he feels he needs to in order to get elected.

Next Steyn is saying only the man who can win largely leftist states can win. The fact that Trump is seen to easily be able to win leftist states is not a good thing. It simply is further proof that Trump is a leftist.

Steyn keeps using language like “Trump supporters” and “anti Trump groups”. Why does he not say Cruz supporters and anti Cruz groups? Seems that for Steyn, Trump is all that matters and anything else needs to get with the leftist program.

Steyn keeps talking about arithmetic as if it is a fait accompli that Cruz won’t be able to get the conservative message out to these leftist states. If the majority of states in America simply reject conservatism, then America is no longer a Constitutional Republic. Does Steyn really believe this? Is the future of America nothing but leftism from now on? If so, I can understand why Steyn sounds so bored doing today’s program.

Please quote where I posted something that I said happened that didn’t actually happen.

I’m not going to wait until the bill is passed before I see what’s in the bill. Just like I’m not going to wait until Trump is in office to see him do what he has said with his own words that he is going to do.

Trump isn’t a work in progress. He is a fully formed adult man who has publicly voiced his beliefs, his desired policies, and has even used his vast wealth to fund things he believes in (like Hillary Clinton for president).

Steyn thinks that what evangelical leaders do matters to evangelicals.

Evangelicals will abandon people who abandon their principals, whether they are famous leaders or not, they won’t follow them as if evangelicals have a hierarchy. Evangelicals aren’t the Catholic Church.

Anyone can become corrupted and abandon their principals, even famous leaders. At that point, they are removed from leadership by way of evangelicals from then on ignoring them.

I don’t care what Jerry Falwell does.

Steyn must not be a believer as he seems to be happy that Jerry Falwell has supported Trump, purely because Steyn himself wants Trump to win and feels that this will get those stubborn evangelicals to get in line. To Steyn, it doesn’t matter in the least if Trump’s principals are in opposition to the Bible. Trump even went so far as to publicly rejected Jesus.

Apparently though, as long as Trump can win, then his supporters can all finally feel good about themselves and the country, even if Trump does exactly what Hillary Clinton would do, cause none of that fact and truth stuff matters to Trump supporters.

Haha Steyn says to stop looking at the “little things”, but to look at what “matters to you”.

His examples seem to express that anything unfavorable to Trump is “little things” and what “matters to you” should be Trump’s stand on immigration.

It seems that Steyn doesn’t know that Trump has publicly stated that he is malleable on amnesty and immigration and even the wall.

Steyn mentions that ISIS is another subject that “matters to you” but seems to forget that Cruz has the best temperament and policies on this issue.

Steyn mentions the economy “matters to you” but doesn’t mention that Trump’s tariffs will cause another Great Depression.

Steyn mischaracterizes the KKK issue. Trump was very strange in how he handled that situation. It totally looked like Trump was willing to accept anyone who would vote for him, even the KKK. That is a severe sign that Trump has absolutely no morals whatsoever. This isn’t a comforting trait in someone who is running to become the most powerful man in the world.

Technically, Trump and Cruz tied in Louisiana, at least they both ended up with the same number of delegates.

Steyn just dismissed all the good things he said about Cruz.

After listing out a bunch of Cruz’s good points to a caller Steyn concludes with, “but do you think Cruz can make an emotional connection with the people”. As if Steyn believes Cruz can’t, and that is all that matters.

What in the world? Why is emotional attachment important when discussing a job hiring? We are about to hire a new president, and anyone who hires folk doesn’t do so because of an emotional attachment, they do so based on skills.

The reason Steyn does this is because the only thing Trump has going for him is the irrational emotional cult of personalty he has going for him. Trump supporters have no truth and no facts about Trump to state as a reason for following him. All they have is this religious zeal that having Trump rule over them will finally make them feel good and make the world a better place.

So because Cruz isn’t a demagog and doesn’t have a cult of personalty, “he can’t win” and we have to get behind the leftist Trump so that we can be “winners”.

Wow that is frightening that a pastor was shot simply for being a Cruz supporter. This isn’t a surprise though as Trump has been calling out the Brownshirts for a while now. Of course that this time we don’t know what the motive was.

Sorry Steyn, I’m not going to “get a grip” and “get a priority” by getting on board for Trump just because you “don’t think Cruz can win”. You only feel that way because you want Trump. This won’t change no matter how many times you repeat it today.

Yeah that stunk. Seems all the demons are aligned and out in force, doing whatever it takes to get in the way of a Christian Constitutional Conservative, whether that person is running for president or just voting for a president.

"If you like Reagan, why not like Cruz, who is the closest to Reagan that is running for president?"

"How can we remain a Constitutional republic by electing Trump who has absolutely no understanding of the Constitution"

I don't get it. It's been eye opening (and quite sad) to see FReeper's toss aside conservative principles so easily.

Another Freeper expressed best:

"Apparently, I don't have as much in common with the people here as I thought I did".

Sums it up.
