“The Sunday Morning Bray”, by Bray!

Romans 11:31 Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.

We have never seen a Party declare and fight an all out war on any candidate like we are seeing now. The GOP has had nearly all of the onion skins removed to reveal itself as one of the most corrupt organizations in DC. What we are watching is the fear of a Party petrified they will lose their power if an outsider was to do the unthinkable and win their Presidency. This is Tea Party times ten.

It is obvious to the Party Donald Trump can not only win the nomination, but would dominate it. Their biggest fear is they would have to fight in the election and get ugly which is not what they are comfortable doing. Worse yet they would have to fight after they are elected. They are far more used to losing with dignity than having an ugly win. They are used to being the Washington Generals to the Globetrotters as the gravy train continues to roll over the taxpayers.

The entire election apparatus is one big money machine and they can see Trump is not going to use it. First the managers have been given a big no thanks and he is basically running it himself. These managers can expect to make upwards of twenty to thirty million or more in an election plus perks. When they make 15% booking ads, it adds up pretty fast.

Managing a campaign means memorizing elevator speeches which can be given in thirty seconds telling who you are to this group and another thirty seconds saying just the opposite to another group. He organizes which group you meet and which lie you tell.

The media is expecting to make between $500-750 million on commercials this presidential season. This explains why Fox News and conservative radio does not want to see Trump win the nomination. There are hundreds of millions of radio ads that by all appearances Donald Trump would not be running. Trump would rather dominate the news and call in on the national TV programs and talk live than have a thirty second ad people will forget five seconds after they hear it. This would be a huge dent to Rush/Levin/Beck/Fox’s cash flow this year. Those obscene profit centers would become less obscene if Trump ignores running ads.

I am the only one to predict the final two would be Cruz and Trump although I overestimated Cruz at the beginning of the election. Unfortunately even though he is hated by the Sinate, he is actually an insider and now cozies up with the establishment in their need to find someone to beat Trump. His close ties to Goldman Sachs is especially troubling. He forces people who want the establishment defeated to understand when push comes to shove he will crumble to their will and everything will continue uninterrupted.

Can we end these debates? If there is a worse way to choose a leader it has yet to be invented. The winner of any debate is the biggest policy wonk on the stage. The person who can discuss and describe how things work in the District of Corruption looks like the gifted one, but we are not electing a wonk. We are electing the leader of America who has wonks do what he wants to get his visions done. The President is the CEO of the USA which is a visionary rather than someone who accounts for every dotted “i” and crossed “t”. His job is to find the best people available to in his case, dismantle those rat holes.

There is no question who the born leader is on that stage and it was not the ones worried about hiring a few foreign maids or lawsuits by slip and fall lawyers. Imagine what Rubi8 or Cruz Universities would look like by a couple of guys who have no idea how a business makes a profit. They believe you only have to open a door or put up a sign and the money starts rolling in. Their combined business experience and depth of knowledge rivals Bernie Sanders’.

They both brag how their parents came over from Cuba to work in America but attack Trump for hiring those same people to make his hotel run, hello!

Their anti-business attitude rivals anything you hear from Occupy Wall Street as they vilify Trump for running his businesses like every other businessman runs theirs. Not every company succeeds which is what makes his empire truly amazing. He has some of the finest hotels and golf resorts in the country with the hallmark of being the most luxurious with the finest service. You do not get that by hiring every drug addict that walks off the street. It is easy to point at Trump’s sins while ignoring the fact your wife makes over half a million per year from one of the biggest lobbyists in Moscow on the Potomac.

Trump is going to take voting blocks away from all of the Dem groups. He will do especially well with the lunch bucket union workers who have seen their jobs shipped overseas. He could easily get union endorsements in the Rust Belt states who like what they hear on trade and immigration. He has brought an additional 25% Repub voting even if he is not doing it the right way. He is bringing new voters, youth voters, blacks, Mooselimbs and Hispanics which is driving the GOP insane. He has rewritten the rules of elections and will beat Hillary like a rented donkey, but that is not enough he is not holy.

Conservatism has become a cult. There is a self appointed Sanhedrin filled with Pharisees who believe only they are pure enough to speak for the conservatives in this country. You must say so many Hail Reagans per day and of course you are the most pure with abortion, cutting taxes, pro second amendment and worship at the feet of Rush. Apparently there is a new tenant that you must be Conservative since birth or you are actually a liberal, there are no true conversions which asks what these preachers are trying to do? Only they can declare absolution.

Trump has figured out a way to take the lumps out of the abortion argument. Rather than making everyone take a hard line stance and get killed at the ballot box on the War on Women he gives them a choice. The War on Women means closing abortion clinics by using their famous word phrase techniques so he is using it against them. He is saying Planned Abortionhood is fine as long as they stop having abortions. That is like saying you can play baseball only you cannot have baseballs or bats. Of course they will never agree to that and gives him an acceptable reason to defund and avoid the war and gives PP a choice. Pretty brilliant, except not pure enough for the Sanhedrin.

There is only one outsider left. Unfortunately, Cruz has made a bad decision and has thrown his hat in with the establishment in his craven need to win the presidency. He has allowed himself to become the donors’ candidate and with his wife’s relationship with the biggest donor on Wall Street there is no question he will be twisted to do what they say on issues like immigration and building the wall. If the Sanhedrin does not think those millions are without cables then there is a bridge across the Potomac they would like to sell them. You always launder your money thorough your spouse in DC.

Trump has millions of people horrified they are going to have their money machines taken away. These machines have taken over a hundred years to build and he wants to make it all come crashing down. There are cottage industries like books, magazines, TV and radio programs which make millions preaching to the opposition and the followers. There are lobbyists and corruption feeding the Marxist model losing sleep at night wondering if they will be able to afford their mistresses and Dachas in the country. They may hate what Cruz has said, but they are terrified of what Trump would do. What if Trump is really telling the truth and would do rather than tawk, tawk, tawk?

Pray America wakes

Note: The above opinion is not necessarily my own, but FReeper Bray’s. If you wish to discuss this, please ping Bray.

IMPORTANT—PLEASE READ!!!

This thread is well-known as a place you can post your opinion on without being attacked for it.

As much as I am able to, I want to ensure this thread stays on the straight and narrow when it comes to insults to the posters here.

There is NO room to insult someone here.

I’m a lot less worried about seeing my candidate get insulted than a long time participant of this thread. The former I can laugh off, the latter I won’t.

I’ve asked the moderators ahead of time to support my goal—not to support or detract from any candidate, but to prevent FReepers getting into a flame war on this thread.

Please work with me!

All I’m really asking folks to do is to be civil and act like grown up people. This is, after all, a familiar place with a host of regulars, each with a different opinion. Last week someone said to me that this thread is becoming a home of the Trumpbots. Well, I guess many of the regulars here support Trump, but not all of them. And everyone has a right to be here and voice their own opinion; WITHOUT, of course, resorting to insulting someone else.

We’ve been posting FReeper Bray’s Sunday Bray essay as part of our regular features for many years now. He has come out with several posts favoring Donald Trump. If anyone wishes to counter him, feel free to do so. As I always say at the end of Bray’s post “The above opinion is not necessarily my own, but FReeper Bray’s. If you wish to discuss this, please ping Bray.” I do this not because I won’t back up Bray, but sometimes I disagree with him! And I let him know. But I’d never call him an idiot for having a different opinion from mine.

The animosity and invectiveness of some people on Free Republic is getting downright ugly. I’m not saying the forum is falling apart. It isn’t. We’ve had worse. But it is getting pretty dang bad.

Here’s my challenge: Don’t say anything to someone else here that you’d legitimately worry would get you punched in the nose, or you wouldn’t say to their face because you aren’t that kind of person. Try to also be the kind of person you are face-to-face from behind the keyboard.

Stop it with all the Trumpers, Cruzbots, etc. It really is crass and extremely juvenile! You’re just insulting half the people on the board. Are we really that petty? Cannot you advocate your candidate without putting down the people who support the other candidates? No? Barring that, can you at least RATIONALY put down the other candidate without also insulting those here who promote that candidate? Show some decorum!

People are not just “for” one candidate over the other because they’re stupid, or rabid worshippers or non-thinking sheep. At least not on this Forum, and especially this thread.

Thanks and God Bless you all!!!

Spot on 100% nailed it.

Truth is painful when it combes one’s hair against the grain, as in the opposite way one is used to. This analysis will be hard for some to accept this morning and some will even cry to stop posting Bray’s analysis.

There is nothing here in today’s Braying which can be proven incorrect.

So timely I can’t believe it and here is the corollary to what you have been saying.
When the big two groups of the uni-party start losing what do they do? Cheat and big time.
Here is some stuff courtesy of LucyT who is also a brilliant investigator and has done the hard work of digging up what is really going on and here it is.
.........................
The Lame Cherry prefaces this with FACTS.
http://lamecherry.blogspot.com/2016/03/proof-of-ted-cruz-vote-fraud-in-kansas.html

Fact 1 is Donald Trump is polling in the 40 to 50% range nationally.

Fact 2 is the reason there is RECORD VOTE TURN OUT is due to Trump voters voting.

Fact 3 is that in EVERY poll, Ted Cruz has a 17 to 27 point ceiling.

Now review the below data which I will prepare you for in this reality. In 2012 in Kansas, 30,000 Kansans participated in the election to give Rick Santorum the state. Yet in 2016 Ted Cruz somehow garnered 35,000 votes ALONE.

Somehow, just like in Texas and Oklahoma and Alaska, with record numbers of voters voting for Donald Trump, thee entire lions share is somehow ending up in Ted Cruz’s column.
I will remind you that BEFORE PEOPLE VOTED that exit polling was released showing Ted Cruz was taking 50% of the vote........and according to the conditioning propaganda, Ted Cruz walks away with 48% of the vote?
That is electronic vote fraud, pure and simple!
................................
You gotta read the rest of the link as well it really helps one understand what is going on. Massive voter fraud on a scale hard to imagine. But, not everywhere just in selected states where it might not be spotted.
States that have little in the way of polling. States that have little in the way of exit polling. Without the two they have free reign to do whatever they want and they are.

Morning AB, All,

As always, thank you AB for doing this thread, thank you Bray for weekly wisdom, thank you yon commenters for wise input.

Am singing at the 10 am mass this morning. And what a big deal this is going to be. For the new organ is now all wired to the sound system, we going to have on person playing the piano, one playing the organ, the band AND the choir is going to be in the loft….where we do have brand new chairs, new places to store our coats and maybe somewhere to kneel.

This past Thursday we had practice and wow….just wow.

Best I can describe it is …magnificent.

It’s like being in….like being INSIDE music when the piano and organ are playing. And for whatever godawful reason I am right center between the two big keyboards but I don’t mind. That organ is so pretty I am transported. And since we’re already up high, I consider this is what music must sound like in heaven.

And if y’all will indulge me, let me share a wonderful moment during that practice although I come off as not too humble.

So what else is new yon reader might mumble.

First of all, it’s the prettiest song I have ever heard in my life and I’m not young. Maybe y’all heard it as many in the choir did know it.

It’s called “For Those Tears I Died”.

EVERY single note is in my range and then the glory began.

Let me give you a few lyrics of the song….might nudge yon reader’s memory. I am to understand that this is NOT a Catholic song.

“And Jesus said ‘Come to the River, Stand by my side. I know you are thirsty; you won’t be denied.

I heard every tear drop when in darkness you cried. And I strove to remind you, that for those tears I died.”

Well hell you can look it up on Youtube, there’s plenty of choices.

I never heard that song before but the grand piano started playing, the organ picked it up and as I stood enveloped in this munificence of sound I began to sing this song I never heard before.

I am not a solo singer. I have NEVER sang at a wedding or funeral, not even for my church’s not too distant talent show….then I was Sister Pat some of you might remember.

But guys, I am a choir singer and have been all my life. I’ve got a big voice, even if my range is not too high. And Choir directors have always valued me and I’ve got a little story about Todd, my current Choir leader.

Because that music bowl I was in transported me to somewhere I the choir, not literally but almost, stood back when I began to sing that beautiful, gorgeous song. Even the lyrics moved me to some magical place.

I only need to pray.

Jesus, why me?

It hit my emotional core so much and lifted me, surrounded and wrapped in beautiful music and the choir sang and all you could hear was my voice.

Of course the choir provided back up, insert wink here.

Todd had us practice that song about twelve times until he said “one more time” and we said we were hoarse. I was quite suspicious that he was enjoying playing that new organ so beautifully and yeah, listening to the choir sing as backup, with me leading the way. I mean you can hear yourself sing. That song brought out the best in me, I knew I sounded terrific.

Earlier that day I got an email from Todd. They are starting some kind of music group with more modern and happening religious music and I know this is Father Tom’s idea.

Yeah, that guy. Father Flowers.

I thought about it and figured, I’d give it a try. I was the only choir member Todd sent this too as he CC’d me in a message with a blurb about this new music group for the church newsletter. I guess it was a compliment.

Todd did not respond to my email BEFORE that mighty choir practice . HE’d promised to keep volunteers for this new music group with music within their range. In my response I told him I am limited to my famous four notes but sure I was game.

AFTER choir practice I got an answer from Todd that made my day.

He told me he would do his best to keep the music in my range….and below a direct quote….

“I LOVE YOUR FOUR NOTES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Including all those exclamation points.

I’ve been on cloud 9-which is part of the choir loft I am sure.

I knew he was making us practice that song JUST TO HEAR ME SING!

Call me nuts and I always knew that Todd loved my singing.

Because in all this world there is nothing prettier than the sound of human voices joining in song, harmonizing. I have always loved choral music and of course Todd does too.

He always puts the microphone in front of MY face and last week he told me to straddle the balcony cause we didn’t have speakers and the church got to hear ME singing the whole mass.

Heh.

All those sopranos sing pretty but my voice comes in and goes UNDER them all and lifts the choir up to new heights.

They all know that.

Anyway, will be back and if you get a chance, listen to that song.

The prettiest song I’ve ever heard of a religious nature.

"There is no question who the born leader is on that stage"

There is, indeed, a question about Trump's "leadership". In a serious discussion with Vladimir Putin, or Li Keqiang It will simply not be effective to bellow "liar, liar", or call them "Little Li", or "Lying Vlad". It's not leadership to bellow loudest.
