Which means it is a done deal just like TPP and the Iran deal. The speaker will come up with some plan like TPA and have cruz push it through Congress. Then once it's passed, cruz will say ryan lied to him and he does not support it after the fact.

Obama will give the base back to Cuba. The original agreement negotiated after the Spanish- American War was 99 years.. We are a month to month tenant and that will be Obamas rationale for the give back. Watch and wait.

It was two or three weeks ago that I posted that I thought Obama was going to give Gitmo back to Cuba.

Trump needs to publicly announce that this is something that Obama is thinking of doing, and that if he does it and the Cubans take over the place, that he will order the military to take it back on January 20th.

Did anyone doubt this is what the King had in mind with his change in Cuba policy and his renewed push to move the muslim terrorists out of GITMO?

Even if Congress passes such a law, Obama will veto it, and enough Democrats will support his veto that it will stand.
What is the legal status of the base? Is it something that the Commander-in-Chief can decide on unilaterally?
