It depends. Did the elephant compromise with the alligator? After all, the alligator was hungry and the elephant had this pile of meat it was hoarding and the alligator only wanted its fair share. If the elephant compromised and gave away it’s trunk then I’m sure that the GOP and the Democrats were happy with him.
If he was one of those selfish, radical Tea Party types then he probably stomped the poor hungry alligator to death just so he could avoid giving back to the community.
Poor alligator. Maybe the Democrats and the GOP can take care of him in next year’s budget.
