So many benefits of Free Republic have been spelled out over the years of FR's existence.

I keep coming back to this central point: there is no better discussion software on the planet than that belonging to Free Republic. It allows virtual real time discussion. I have never found anything that begins to approach it.

What does that mean for us?

In the midst of an election season it means we are on the forefront of analysis and commentary from normal people. Frank Luntz might pretend his dozen people are reflective of the electorate, but Free Republic has thousands who are participating. Don't trust Luntz, trust your own lyin' eyes about how many different responses there are on Free Republic.

I don't want to lose that.

AND, I don't want popups, advertisements out the ying yang, auto videos and audios, the threat of spyware, and all those things that go with 'selling advertisement space' on Free Republic.

Go to some of those sites and it locks your computer up.

Go to Free Republic and you glide right in, surf all around it, and glide right out. Fast. Easy. Smooth.
