Hey, that’s great! We can have two liberal Democrats running for president against two other liberal Democrats! It’s okay, really, I didn’t really want a choice or anything.

Kasich will be too old in 9 years - besides, if there is a brokered convention his delegates would put Trump over the top, thus he can help him two ways.

[Honestly, Rick Perry or Scott Walker]

Remember why Scott Walker dropped out of the race...

Scott Walker is pro-amnesty, pro-Obamacare, and anti-spending cuts…

Somebody's voting their choice and these two are coming up roses.

When a presumptive President asks you to serve your country, you do. Just like the generals will do.

It is not uncommon for potential VP nominees to turn down the offer.

I think he can be convinced .... :-) Even if he comes in 2nd.

Trump needs a rust belt VP, Walker a possibility but a real nose pincher because of the way he exited the race, or a Santorum who just evaporated. Chris Christie would be a novelty VP and probably do a good job but he seems destined for AG.

VPs do not set the policy direction

The VP is President of the Senate.

If Kasich is VP, he will twist arms to get diluted legislation passed.

Would I vote for a Trump/Kasich ticket? I'd be pissed, but yeah, I'd still drag my sorry @ss to the voting booth.

George Bush was no Reagan, yet he served Reagan well.

Bush the elder was the biggest mistake Reagan made. His 1990 read my lips lie was the beginning of the long road to today, the end of the republican party. Bush the Elder gave us Clinton, who begat the Shrub, who begat obama.

Trump might also need his delegates if it’s a brokered convention.

Sandra Day O'Connor wasn't his best either.

Kasich truly stands for absolutely nothing. One of the most pitiful candidates in a long time. Please ban yourself for at least 6 months.

Seriously? Kasich’s way too touchy-feely and milque toast for me. Yeah, I know, his dad was a mailman...

Bingo. I actually think this is the plan. I advocated this line of thinking last night.

Last night at the debate, Trump specifically attacked Cruz and Rubio for being in the pockets of special interests... but "not the Governor." Kasich wasn't just left out of the attack; he was specifically excluded.

Trump has given hints as to who he'd pick as a running mate. He said he would pick a politician... "We don't need two of me." and he said logic would dictate someone from a battleground state.

Kasich is generally well liked within the party. He's held up fairly well in the campaign. He would "unite the party."

PLUS, if it’s a deal before the convention then Trump will have his delegates and the GOPe can go pound sand.

Could very well be IF Kasich wins Ohio.
Trump isn’t as good as Reagan, but Kasich isn’t as bad as GHW Bush...

On average, they would be quite stable.
