Actually, Trump did really well yesterday, but the H1-B visa “rethink” was the biggest negative to come out of the debate, and that was completely on him.

It was so obvious that these “moderators” should not be in that position. FUFN!

This was another dog pile on Trump. Yet, Trump held his own.

I could NOT in good conscience vote for a Third term for Obama— the Only difference between Obama and Trump is the current Obamanation want America to become a queer Islamic Nation and Trump want to make America like he did Trump Towers.

“I watched decades of work by conservative institutions, activists, and elected officials being lit aflame”

They’ve been such complete failures for the past 20 years, that they still don’t get that people have finally seen through their jive, and are going with Trump, whom is willing to push these issues directly and in plain language.

That is why you have this little contingent of snobs on FR that whine that Trump doesn’t sound as pretty as Cruz, and constantly make rude comments about Trump supporters intellect.

I think Trump lost a lot of support when he supported Rubio’s amnesty bill.

Their loyalty is to him, not principles
That's true of every cult leader and every dictator. And that's why Trump is more dangerous to this country than anyone else running.

He’s become a serial flip flopper, yet this too doesn’t matter to those who say they are conservative. H1-B visas for skilled workers - position changed to a new one. Why? Who knows. He changed his position on Afghanistan. Why? Who knows. It doesn’t appear that he does. In fact, he’s so mercurial that it may be he thinks whatever pops out of his mouth is good policy. I’m also starting to think it may be another indicator of his onset senility. His irascibility, too, seems to be a trait we associate with people getting anile.

So, your candidate is what, the face of God? Or is he merely God’s representative here on Earth?

Find me a statement Jesus made that supports Trump’s behavior.

Quote: “ He moved drastically to the center on immigration, repudiating his position on H-1B visas on stage and saying “everything is negotiable,” including the border wall and the fate of illegal immigrants already in the United States”

How can you Trumpbots ignore this?

It was his strong stand on illegal invaders that rocketed him to the top in the polls and now he is backing off?

The man is indeed a con man and an opportunist but no matter what he says or does Trumpbots will support him and he will get Hillary elected.

Trump’s money quote of the night: “Everything’s negotiable.”

Then he demonstrated that to his adoring fans by reversing his position on H1Bs right in their face.

(Bear in mind, I personally have no problem with a sensible H1B program, so I’m not “up in arms” over his comments there, but the way Trumpettes have attacked the H1B program, only to have their man fliparoo right before their eyes was priceless.)

Trump was not pleasant to behold last night. Anyone who says otherwise has closed the door on their better sense.

Even his most enamored supporters should have some pause concerning the fluidity of his positions.

Cruz has not helped himself by wrestling with the proverbial pig. He should have stuck with the issues. He’s succeeded in magnifying Trump’s distasteful persona, but he’s sullied himself in the process. Lose-lose.

Rubio should just hang it up. Should he enter the convention in a distant 3rd and emerge the winner, the Republicans will have lost their base forever.

Kasich was actually looking good last night by comparison, and I’m certainly no fan of Kasich’s.

I’m afraid that we are now headed into contested convention, a non-Trump/Cruz nominee, and a disintegrated GOP.

Trump has nothing but contempt for his supporters. Look at how he treats Chrisite. He looks at everyone else as just people to be used for his ends. I don’t understand how some people cannot look at his past and present and see that this man’s biography and philosophy are not conservative. Sloganeering as a caricature of conservative is not the same as being one.

I’m pretty sure Trump wanted to destroy the conservative movement and make way for Hillary.

Let me give you some helpful advice:

Adopting a “holier than thou” attitude wins no converts.

“...and who loses to Hillary Clinton in practically every poll.”

Ignorant nonsense.

RCP has Trump ahead of Hillary in FL.

He’s the only republican ahead of Hillary in FL.

Trump ahead of Hillary in OH, tied with her in PA

Whoever the nominee is, gotta win FL, PA, OH and one more state from: NV, NH or NC.

Cruz has explained over and over again why educate the best and brightest of the rest of the world here then send them home to start businesses? Poach them and let them start businesses here!

I did watch and he wasn't awful, In fact, having a Cuban, Canadian, and 3 attack moderators at his throat, he did a very good job. Cruz didn't have to deal with anyone except the booger on his lip. It was obvious that he and Cabana boy teamed up. So, what I learned up from yesterday was that Cruz is so desperate that he sold his soul to the establishment. Of course, he already sold his soul to Goldman Sachs, so there's that.

Ted Cruz = Elmer Gantry
