That isn’t true. He believes he is the face of GOD.

“60th Vote on TPP and the Corker bill on Iran”
these disqualify him as a Constitutional conservative.
That said, he does have several other redeeming qualities.
Just don’t be fooled.

Here is a short piece of a National Review article which includes a lengthy quote from Trump where he praises the strength shown by the Chinese Communist government when they crushed the pro democracy protests at Tiananmen square. Note that Trump praised the Chinese Communists response and was critical of Gorbechav who he thought was too weak.

“An interview that Trump gave to Playboy in 1990 has just come to my attention. If I’m the last to know about it, forgive me. Trump was asked about Gorbachev — who was nearing the end of his time in power. Trump said, “Russia is out of control and the leadership knows it. That’s my problem with Gorbachev. Not a firm enough hand.” His interviewer asked, “You mean firm hand as in China?” Trump answered, “When the students poured into Tiananmen Square, the Chinese government almost blew it. Then they were vicious, they were horrible, but they put it down with strength. That shows you the power of strength. Our country is right now perceived as weak … as being spit on by the rest of the world –”

Let me guess? Don Trump is blameless if David Duke supports him, but it’s Ted Cruz’s fault that Bruce Jenner endorsed him?

I retain a good degree of skepticism re: Cruz.
TPP and Corker votes have rightfully engendered this.

Granted, lots of Americans are angry. Obamacare, terrorism, lawlessness, cronyism, and corruption abound.

And the abject and total failure of those that claim to be on our side to do anything that can be considered remotely successful at stopping it. We have been a party of losers. We have been told that losing is still somehow a win. Clearly demonstrated when so-called "leaders", "movers and shakers", claim victory when they come in second or even third.

If any of these alternatives had the guts to admit a butt-kicking when they get one, they might garner some of my respect. But no, it's spin spin spin. Claiming they've "made history" after taking second or third. This used to be a culture that hated to lose and loved to win. Now we just try to spin and hope people will buy it.

They had their chance.

Cruz was doing what ALL republican congress critters should have done. Did he have the support of any of his colleagues when he was upsetting the cart? two, three? Did the people of the United States agree with his obamacare fight? DID WE SUPPORT HIM?

If I live in a dem town will my one vote count for a state rep?

The mask is slipping, most Cruz supporters are stop-Trump moles. It’s war and Trump had better win or we’re right back in our current mess.

I’m a Cruzer who sees reality. Cruz didn’t win the South. Going forward has little chance for nomination.

I see Trump/Cruz standing standing together as one!

So, it must be the humble nature of the Donald that attracts you to him, huh?

For the future, remember arguments that are ludicrous on their face neither persuade nor inspire confidence in the argument’s author.
