Residents of New Mexico's Boot heel and parts of southern Arizona say human smuggling and drug trafficking is taking its toll on the region.
The Deming Headlight reports that residents are scheduled Thursday to express their concerns to federal officials during a meeting at the Animas Community Center in Animas, New Mexico.

New Mexico, Arizona, Texas...Y’all just vote for Trump...It’ll change in a few months...
(I’ve just about given up on California)
We have had meetings before, all the agencies send a talker and a couple of politicians show up and they make all sorts of promises...keep none. It is a joke at this point, people are murdered by illegals, kidnapped, human trafficking and drugs- business as usual.
Here in AZ, the drug traffic coming across the Mexico border has increased 200% in the past few months. Wonder why?
In a sane world, the government of Mexico would be brought up on charges of crimes against humanity for allowing people on both sides of the border to be victimized.
It is not crime kiddies- IT IS AN INVASION ACCOMPANIED WITH A SACK! The interesting feature being our negro community organizer is actually furthering the conquest by the alien forces.
I suggest that if/when Trump is elected, we start a campaign to actually buy bricks for the wall, send them to a central location and then donate them to the federal government. Here ya go, feds, several truckloads of bricks to get you started - now get to work. The irony, of course, is almost any contracting company near Mexico is hiring Mexicans to do any construction work so, in a way, Trump’s corny promise will be fulfilled.
The people elected a man who is a closet muslim, a coset homosexual, an admitted drug addict and an unabashed racist as president.
Is there any surprise that his top interests are:
I’m sure Mitt Romney in his speech today will discuss this issue........ ;)
And should those people defend themselves, guess what?

No end to it...
You nailed it, as usual. The other reason is illegals figure Trump is going to win, so they are dealing as much drugs as they can, and the other illegals are jumping our border as fast as they can. The local news scum has interviewed a number of illegals here, and they say all the illegals are getting over here while they can.
Here in AZ, a number of illegals who made it here say their friends are jumping out borders as fast as they can before Trump closes the door. Drug trafficking has increased over 200% in the past 90 days. Last chance for the illegals to ply their trade.
And now the Governor of New Mexico has admitted she is for amnesty and open borders by endorsing Rubio. Martinez is just another Rino.
Another RINO or a DemomocRat In Name Only (DINO)?
Texas- 600,000 violent crimes committed against Texans by illegal aliens!
