Alexis De Toqueville came to America to study this difference in outcomes. His conclusions were very pertinent to our situation today. The French revolution took over an existing powerful central government. Ours created a new condition working from the small town governments up with a very weak (by design) central government. He was not optimistic about the future if the power was reversed.

I did not suggest total destruction of the central government.

I suggested moving the center-of-gravity from DC back to the States. Most of what goes on in DC is outside the powers granted by the US Constitution. And 1/2 of what goes on in DC could be eliminated today and no one outside of DC would ever miss it.

Obama has bred total chaos as a mean to an end. He has consistently sought to destroy all stability in order to gain total control.

This will not end well.
