These debates are a joke. I see no reason the remaining candidates should subject themselves to this farce. All Faux News is looking for is some gotcha questions that they can replay a million times.

Can totally honest person be asked a gotcha question? A question like “Do you really want to send dying baby orphans back to Mexico?” These can be answered if you have solid core beliefs and know how to express them. Regan could do this. His political beliefs changed on a period of time far before he ran for president and he could tell why they changed. It is up to the candidate to point out question that try force an answer. One of the more infamous question is “Dose this dress make my butt look big?” Or “Have you stopped beating your wife?” The 2nd question assumes something that isn’t necessarily a fact but an accusation. (Hopefully) While in a debate most men would not get away with answering the first question “No! , It isn’t the DRESS that makes your butt look big. (I just had to throw than in) With straight forward and consistent responses the person asked the question can make the questioner (inquisitor) look to be the aggressor and foolish. Bad gotcha questions if answered right can make the candidate look good and the moderator look bad.
