Oh so you like Obamcare, Common Core, open borders???

I didn’t say that. I merely asked why one should vote for Trump. Again - serious question.

He’s the only one with a proven track record of running multi billion dollar organizations with a profit regardless of opposition, while at least mostly stating adherence to conservative values.

If we don’t get government spending seriously under control real soon, other socio-political issues will rapidly become a moot point.

Cruz has the right principles, but not the experience in implementing them.

The rest just aren’t getting the votes - for reasons.

And only Trump shows the talent needed to eviscerate Hillary’s chances.

Because I believe he means what he says and will act on it

1) He faced ridicule when he stated he would build a wall, he was called xenophobic, and racist. Even the Pope in effect excommunicated him fro it (declared him non a christian). Instead of equivocating, or clarifying, or pivoting or backtracking he stood his ground even though it seemed it would hurt him in the polls. Instead he doubled down and stated Mexico would pay for it. So I believe he means it and he will build the wall.

2) Undisputedly he has a large ego, a sense of legacy. His own ego will not allow him to leave office without a wall built that bears his name. I support building the wall

3) He faced a complete meltdown in the media, was almost banned from entry into the UK, was called racist, a xenophobe, and was attacked by conservatives on his own party due perceived infringement of religious liberties when he asked for a moratorium in the immigration of Syrian refugees. He rightly points out that ISIS has taken over official passport and birth certificate producing machines and we have no idea how many Isis terrorists are ‘embedded’ in the stream of documented and undocumented Syrian refugees. So I believe given his stance in front of opposition that he will stop the Syrian immigration into the country and send back those already here. I support that.

4) He has called for an alternative to Syrian immigration the construction of ‘safe zones’ inside Syria itself, so there is no need for Syrian to emigrate, or countries to accept immigrants that will have trouble integrating into their culture, such as is happening in Europe. I support the concept of a safe zone in Syria.

5) He has unequivocally called for the repeal of Obamacare. and has indicated that a main problem in controlling health care costs is the inability to bid fro healthcare services across state lines, and the inability of the government to competitively bid on drug prices. I believe that given his business experience he might be able to come up with cost cutting measures on healthcare, even thought his proposed plans for Obamacare replacement lack specifics.

6) The media and other have tried to portray Trump as a ‘large government’ proponent. I just don’t see it, given his engrained habits for cost cutting over 30 years. I tend to believe that his administration (specially if Sarah Palin is involved) will be know for cost cutting and reducing the size of government and coming up with a balanced budget before the end of his first 4 year term.

7) I find it offensive when Republicans say they will prop up social security etc, by reducing benefits and increasing the retirement age. Trump has vowed to leave Social security and Medicare without cuts, and plans instead to reduce waste and abuse in those program.

8) A ‘hard line’ ‘right wing’ conservative will not win the general election as it will not attract centrist, democrat or independent votes. Trump is the most centrist candidates, has grown the party and I believe will trounce Hillary Clinton in the general election.

There are many more reasons to vote for Trump, but these are just a few.
