FWIW.

I like Gov. Martinez a lot and have met her several times. She's a refreshing change from the Clinton Democrat Machine that somehow invaded NM. She's not remotely a RINO, although she does cater to NM majority Hispanic/Native American population, as she must.

Trump supporter or no, this kind of unhappiness will surely lead to down-the-ticket defeats if Trump is the nominee (or if the RNC Elite pull a trick at the convention).

Having a 911 calling drunk endorse you isn’t always the best thing for a candidate.

No thanks

Trump is not a drinker

I don’t think he would approve of an alcoholic as his running mate

She’s struck me as an establishment supporter for a while now.

Am I wrong?

Defections from voting for Trump are going to be legion. Even if they don’t say, many who have never voted Dim before will pull the Hildabeast lever and tell no one.

At least I’m just not voting.

Oh! The Irony!

Remember the establishment outrage when Trump hesitated saying he would support the republican no matter who won the nomination?

I guess the only person who must honor the loyalty oath is Trump. Why couldn’t Martinez just say that she will support the nominee of the party? The GOPe would rather lose than see someone whom they can’t control get elected to the WH. Time to blow up the GOP.

She is just playing to her base. Like many, she is afraid of Trump.

How many of her voters/supporters depend on illegals for cheap labor and customers using our tax $'s they get for being here illegally and unemployed.

How many of her voters besides the above are illegals?

This is ridiculous. These people are all damn fools who are going to reassure the election of a criminal or a communist rather than vote for somebody they have minor philosophical differences with. WOnder how money the Koch brothers paid this ass.

I do think she is playing to her base, but I don’t think she is “afraid” of Trump, except to the extent he is a populist and not a conservative.

New Mexico is a bit odd -— very conservative ranching families and oil in the East, liberal transplants from CA in Sante Fe, and Indians, which are liberal or conservative depending on tribal affilliation.

Lots of Hispanics (majority, in fact), but not particularly new immigrants. As in, families that have been there for 400 years and the border crossed them, not the other way around. They tend toward very conservative, as well.

The populist message really doesn’t have a base in NM, or at least not that I see — you are either conservative or liberal.

I wonder if everyone - voter or politician - who stayed home in 2012 because Romney wasn’t perfect enough has enjoyed the last three years under King Obama.

Because that is just a sample of what life will be for the next 4 years (probably 8 years) if they don’t come out in November to vote against Hillary.

Her remarks come following a recent Associated Press survey of GOP senators and governors across the country that showed just under half of respondents would not commit to backing Trump if he’s the nominee.

Most of the half are establishment parasites who have been robbing us blind by taking contributions from crony capitalists. Once Trump is elected, our next step should be defeating the Ryans, McConnells, McCains, Boehners, etc of the world.

Remember when these same establishment Republican types used to tell conservatives: “A vote for a third-party candidate or staying at home is a vote for THE DEMOCRAT!”. Good times.

They don’t realize that they’ve already destroyed their political pan-handler careers. If Trump wins the presidency they are destroyed and if he loses they are doubly destroyed.

Some will figure it out and come crawling back pretty soon. Point and laugh at them when they do so.
