Where do you live? Out here in the Midwest, weather is usually in the first few minutes followed by lengthier report about halfway through the local news.
Around here, the weather man does appear in the first few minutes but says nothing substantial except that you need to stay tuned for his report. He will do this two or three times through the program. This prompted my question, why not just let him come on and make his full report? And the answer is as soon as he gives his full report nobody watches anything else.
