Because this is still a primary season.
Remember the last US Senate race and the last Gov. race were fixed. the DFL stole both elections.
On Saturday, the Startribune had an article stating that the elections on Tuesday will be honest, not like 2 years ago when all votes were not counted.
In MN the fix is in. Who ever the Super Delegates want to win, wins.

In 1984 I was a 24 yo born and raised in MN. This was a very dark time for me. Regan’s win kept my drunk for 4 more years. Finally in 1988 I couldn’t take it any more and got sober. Since that time, I have been restored to Sanity. I saw the light and am now conservative. To be honest, to this day, I can’t say anything good about Regan.
Thankfully the GOP has no “super-delegates” - like the Bolshevik Democrats.
I have friends that moved here (Texas) over 30 years ago and have become very conservative. When they go back to Minnesoooota, each summer, they have to watch their tongues. All their relatives and old friends there are rabid looooons.
Then if neither Trump or Cruz win over 50%, by their own delegates or by an arrangement they make between each other, the delegates will be free to vote, under GOPe threats, bribes and lies, for the GOPe’s chosen candidate.
