Some of the more memorable Minnesota politicians: Al Franken, Orville Freeman, Hubert Humphrey, Eugene McCarthy, Walter Mondale, Harold Stassen, Jesse Ventura & Paul Wellstone.

We have a toss up on the best, most apt nickname for Republican candidates this winter.

Jebra! From SNL.

Marco Mondale from Jessica Hahn at Breitbart.

I don’t know which one made me laugh more but the guy doing Trump on SNL is actually funny to me so hearing it in his voice probably made me laugh more the first time. Marco Mondale just says it all though.

It,was also with only 41,000 votes. Cruz won Texas with 1,231,000.

Man doesn’t count when it comes to electing republican winners.

Republicans in Minnesota are almost as rare as Eskimos in the Amazon.

Being an open primary state you can bet most Rubio voters were Democrats.

Thank You for the reminder

If we could cut off Minnesota and float it over to Somalia we’d all be better for it

I’m from Minnesota and I would say there are many Republicans here. BUT, it is a huge gimmedat state so we are overwhelmed by the number of freeloaders living in the cities. Also, the younger generation is being convinced that the government will take care of their every need.

May history repeat itself.

Yeah, I kind of noticed that too. And why not? Minnesotans are infamous for picking “winners” like Jesse Ventura and Al Franken.

“float it over to Somalia”

Minnesota is the #1 stupidest state.

The only state that Rubio has won. The next for him to win
will probably be the next stupidest state, Florida which is
a very far second to Minnesota.

Exactly. You can’t use Minnesota politics as a bellwether for anything but creeping lunacy.

I do not think many people believe that Cabana Boy will win Florida but I would not rule out massive voting fraud in the handing chad state

Don’t be surprised if Cruz gives conservative cover to Trump by backing off in Florida. Looks like Ted is going to be V.P.

Imagine the IRS commissioner getting the call that Vice President Cruz is here to see you.....

Trump/Cruz cannot lose.
