Pat Caddell: Establishment Can't Stop Trump's Populist Candidacy Because They Can't (Short)
Breitbart.com ^ | March 1, 2016 | Rebecca Mansour

Veteran pollster Pat Caddell thinks the nation is at “the tipping point” of political “revolution” in the 2016 election because the Washington establishment doesn’t understand the legitimate concerns motivating ordinary Americans. Caddell believes the establishment “empire is trying to strike back” against the populist movement challenging their power, but the American people have “left the building.”

It’s been a while, but wasn’t Caddell a Lefty adviser?

Have I got that backwards.

He does get it.

“I listened to the debate that Trump wasn’t at, and even with Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and [Ben] Carson, all the sudden they were all back talking about establishment things,” Caddell [said]

Interesting observation!

Caddell was a Carter campaign advisor, and maybe his media guy while he was in office.

He has impressed me since then as being both honest and a patriot. He thoroughly dislikes Obama.

You would think all these establishment elites would recognize a revolution when they see one - they are the same radicals who turned out the existing establishment in the 1960s.

Thank you. I’d forgotten his particulars but was pretty sure he was a Lefty.

If he’s being reasoned about his beliefs, I don’t agree but at least can tolerate it.

An honest and principled democrat.n who’s party left him.

Very much an endangered species.

Of course we could just call him an “American” and that would work.

Exactly. This cannot be changed by slick messages, promises, procedural tricks, etc. All of that has been used before and is now recognized as pure deception.
They really just don’t get it. This well deserved electoral terminator is coming for you GOP.

Yes, we could.

I still worry about these guys that seem to have mellowed out, until they get a guy like Bernie and run with it.

We’ll see what he does later on.

The more the establishment tells us what to think the less we think what they want.

They know perfectly well what is driving the Trump phenomenon.

They have been actively squelching the desire of the citizens to control the borders and enforce the laws on fraudulently documented foreigners.

Until now they had successfully manipulated the nomination process to always stick us with open borders candidates.
We have had nothing but amnesty candidates since the last amnesty.

The RNC is owned by the same people that own the DNC and flooding the country with foreigners is the most important thing to them.

I’m reminded of all those town hall meetings where McCain and the rest of the ilk talked down to the attendees.

I saw McCain on TV last night, and when he was asked if he understood the anger by republicans towards their own party, he rambled on about jobs, but how there were good things happening in the senate. In other words, he was totally clueless. I heard Romney a few days ago, and he was just as clueless.

The gop establishment doesn’t know why, and doesn’t care about why people are so angry at them. That is why they are pouring millions into their Stop Trump campaign.

It is like the gop is in its death-throes.
