Yet another poll today shows Cruz and Rubio narrowly beating Hillary but Hillary easily beating Trump. Trump is polling as the worst general election candidate of the three. The loudest cheers for Trump tonight will be at DNC HQ.

Hillary, like Ted, was supposed to be so brilliant. Such a good debater. Both crashed and burned. I couldn’t believe Ted would say “Trump donated to crooked politicians” at the debate when he knew Trump had donated to him too. That’s pointing a gun at your own head, supplying the ammunition and expecting the opponent to not load it and pull the trigger. So NOT brilliant. Same with Hillary and her “sexist” remark. She blew her own head off with that one.
Hillary is going to play status quo politics and Trump is everything but status quo. She won’t know what hit her.

Those polls are wrong. Now, if it had The Don beating Hillary, they would be right.
His supporters are in a huge bubble. They think the country is riding the Trump Wave. In Realsville, he has the highest negativity rating than not only all the other candidates running but any candidate since 1992.
A lot can happen from now to Nov. But that’s were we are today

I always find it interesting that the democrats always accuse the opposition of the things they are doing or hope to accomplish, I guess it’s called projection.

Yes, clamper, my ire was directed at Whoopi, not you or anybody here. There are enough people around here who demonize their fellow FReepers with foul expletives like that, but I don't go there.
If I call somebody a "liberal", that's pretty much an expletive. If I was tempted to call a FReeper a terrible name like that, I'd probably bite my tongue and save my venom for our enemies.
Let me confess a dirty little secret. For over a year now, I've been hoping a dreaming about this scenario.
When I try to visualize it I can't help thinking back to a scene in the Russell Crowe movie "Gladiator", where the some condemned prisoners are forced out of a cage and into the arena to be slaughtered as a sadistic warm-up for the Main Event.
One of the prisoners, the first in line to go out to die breaks down crying and pees his pants. Then he gets pushed out where a giant with a club knocks his brains out, to the cheering of the mob in the stands.
I really, really wants to see Hillary wet her pants and cry like that. I want to watch when Trump turns her into a teary-eyed blubbering idiot on live TV. If I get to see something like that, all this drama will have been worth it.
I know, I have my dark side... I'll go sit in the back and be quiet now.
