You seem to be taunting but this is a serious situation. The Church was infiltrated by homosexual activists in the 50s and 60 through the seminaries. They then showed great failure in leadership in the way they dealt with the problems--some of those activists were in positions of leadership.
However... the Church did deal with the problems. Very hard to find a case of abuse where the actual abuse occurred in the last 10+ years.
The media has a strange love hate relationship with the RCC. There is never a marriage or funeral on a movie or TV show that isn't Catholic. The media parades the pope around when he is doing their will and denouncing man made global warming. But they have also carried the child abuse scandal along with their relationship with the RCC. A non Catholic like myself will always relate the RCC with this abuse case and the media helps prop that up. Then there is the issue of trust. Was it really a planned infiltration or is it more of an institutionalized thing due to the whole doctrine of a priesthood that must be single?
Wait till those kids grow up.
