The article conveniently leaves out whether the rise in CCW permits precedes or follows the rise in violent crime. I’d bet it is a lagging indicator...

DING! DING! DING! What have a winner!!

That headline is deliberately and purposely and obviously
a misleading lie. Twisting the context to make a false point. Frankly it was the best laugh of the day.

They missed a step.

There is a link between fire arm violence followed by shrill calls for gun grabs and then concealed carry permits.

The only correlation is that where CCW is on the rise, violent crime is in decline, in right thinking neighborhoods.

Notice the source. Not from a criminology journal, or even an economic journal, but a “health” journal. Almost no standards of proof, and they routinely ignore other work done in the field.

But it sure looks sensational

I actually read the entire article and it made perfect sense to me. Nonsensical BS that didn't make one bit of sense but gives the impression that more study is needed in order to produce more nonsensical bullshit......

From a manufacturing perspective, here's how it works. Back in the mid 1980's my company hired a training director at our plant in Philadelphia whose sole job was to seek out federal grants available to the auto industry then set up various training programs that would allow the company to reap the monetary benefits paid out to companies who met those training requirements.

It was a wonderful scam considering that the company benefited from these wonderful subsidies while the training programs themselves were completely useless........LOL!

The lesson learned, you don't need facts and outcomes just as long a you have a professional bullshitter writing the crap..........

Yup! Kinda like the “diversity trainers” that managed to scam most major companies out of millions of dollars every year so those major companies could “check the box”? Of course there were always a bunch of dimwits who embraced every new management or diversity concept that came along. How about, use some common sense, skills you’ve attained and do your job. Always worked for me. Despite all the training they forced on us. :>)

...over two time periods examined in the study...

How long did it take them to find the time periods that suited their conclusion?

Want a particular outcome for your poll. Simple, poll twice as many as you need and pick the ones that fit.
