No, actually we have not. There are no stories of brigades of women infiltrating by cover of night and slaughtering the enemy. There are no stories of women conducting frontal assaults and humping machineguns and mortars in rifle companies.
They are doing what they have to do for survival, being outnumbered 29:1. And their role is limited in the context of all-out war. It's really no different than the role of women on the American frontier.
Can you tell us what you have seen them do, besides dress up in battlegear?
Because the Israelis do not use their women in combat outfits.
It is a misconception that they do.
20th century communism always made a special point of defeminizing women by placing them in combat. It was all part of destroying the family, making the relationship between atomized individual and the state the only relationship with any standing.
