“I think Kasich makes sense as the VP to balance the ticket.”

Kasich would have to be balanced for that to be plausible.

The guy’s a nut.

“Trump is going to do good things, and I don’t want to see it undone.
Imagine Kasich tearing down the wall five or nine years later.”

That’s what the Booshes did to Ronald Reagan’s legacy. It’s to our everlasting shame that we allowed the GOPe to foist GHWB off on Ronnie as the price for their support. Trump will not make that same mistake.

Kasich and Carson’s votes could have all gone to Cruz and he’d still be struggling to compete with Trump.

If they’d dropped out after New Hampshire, their voters would have wound up splintering themselves amongst the remaining candidates.

Heck, most of them might have even gone to Trump, for that matter.

I wonder how many people Trump has promised to select as his VP.

“It’s not an achievement to win in your home state. It’s an expectation.”

And that expectation should be that he win in a decisive manner, and he’s not going to do it. If he doesn’t get all the delegates, and he won’t, he’s failed. And we get to watch Florida do an even worse job on Boobio a couple weeks down the road. Trump is likely to get ALL Florida’s delegates.

If EVERYONE would just really look at the Trump kids they would know he IS NO liberal!!! He has spent his life raising these kids they are a mirror of the TRUE man!!! Trump is an entertaining guy with the guts to say what is ever on his mind but he is NO LIBERAL!!!!>>> i observe them and follow on twitter don jr speech was excellent he said his kids shoot several brick of 22 in their back yard and started reloading due to shortages in 22lr. he and eric are competition long range shooters.

No he won’t. Trump said he would pick a political person for VP. Someone who knows politics.

“Kasich -just another one who knows nothing about Texas. Cruz will win here.’

So? Just what will that win do for him in the greater scheme of things? Answer: Nothing! In loosing the presidency, Walter Mondale won his home state in the general election, but he lost the other 49. Ditto for Cruz. It’s called the “favorite son” vote. But at least Cruz is a “favorite son.” Look at Boobio, he’s going to get blown out in his home state by something on the order of 20 points if the polls are to be believed.

Carson would be a GREAT VP for Trump!!! The balance of the two would be great for the country!!! They will surround themselves with the right advisors, the military generals will take care of the military the way it should be and off we go!!!!>>> i have not seen this combination floated before. but everyone in my church has such grat feelings for carson knowing that he can’t win. might be a great ticket. i got a little thrill when i read your post.

‘....can’t think of another reason a conservative would endorse Trump.”

Really? Have you bothered to look at the current FR Caucus polling? Unless you think that those of us here on FR who are TRump supporters aren’t conservative, he has a three to one edge over Cruz here. And there are virtually no votes going to any of the other candidates that are still in the race.

“Anyone who would support Hillary or Sanders over Trump...or stay home...is demented. They are not options for sane people.”

Well, it appears that thery are some “demented” people here on FR, because there are a number who seeminlgy are saying they are staying home if the nominee is Trump. They say they aren’t supporting Hillary (or Bernie), but by staying home they are in effect supporting whichever RAT gets the nomination. Like Liberalism, Conservatism carries with it insanity at its outer fringes.

I hope not.

I see folks loft Kasich or Christie and I cringe.

Yes, you’re right.

I’m not sure if I heard someone else reference himas Erij or what, but I was wrong. It was Donald Jr.

Thank you.

It was such a pleasure to listen to him.

I like Sessions as much as anyone, but, look - he and Trump are both 69 years old. I’m not sure that would appeal to a lot of voters to have both older candidates. I actually think we need Sessions in Congress.

No, he won’t. Carson is way too green politically, and Trump has said in the past that he would more than likely have a politician as VP. Carson is also up there in years, and would never be able to step in as President if something - (God forbid) happened to Trump.

Um, excuse me - all states that have primaries after March 14th are winner take all - so, if Trump wins FL and Ohio - he gets ALL the delegates from those states.

Kasich isn’t really a nut - he just acts that way. He’s my governor and has done a fairly good job here in Ohio. Is he perfect? NO, but no human is perfect. They all have warts, you just have3 to choose which warts you can live with.

I’m from Texas and this election is the one reason I won’t vote early. Too many things can happen. Now I will vote for Trump. And I only made the decision to actually vote at all a few hours ago. I believe Trump has a chance to win Texas.
