I know exactly what you are talking about. As a recovering lawyer I found it endearing.

I noticed that it was a lawyer to his left and and a lawyer to his right. He said Bill because he isn’t a lawyer. Obviously he meant Opinion. You know it, I know it and best of all, the American people know it. And the American people know now that you know the difference between a Bill and an Opinion.

Now the American people also know that the two lawyers and the author don’t know friggin’ SQUAT about how the world or American economy work, don’t know squat about shakedowns of American business by greedy politicians, don’t know squat about leadership.

So all well and good, you do know the difference between a Bill and an Opinion. Now go do SOMETHING !!!!!

I am beginning to think that Donald Trump does this kind of thing on purpose to provoke these establishment twits into exposing themselves. The “unprotected” as Peggy Noonen now calls us, knew what Donald Trump was talking about without the exact proper legalese nomenclature.

I have written posts about people looking for physical and economic security. I believe Peggy Noonan’s article, Trump and the Unprotected covers the ninety percent of the factors driving the move to Trump. Everyone should read it.

No president is an expert on everything.

Sorry, that is not going to fly...

I expect Trump not know a lot about the military, various functions of government agencies as he is not involved in government...

All which is an easy learning curve and where an 'administration' comes into play...

Not to know how to use the word 'bill' in relationship with judges is pure ignorance...

Super Tuesday. Georgia has early voting usually the week before.

Actually we had two weeks. My vote for Trump has been made.

one of the strangest incidents in last night’s debate, when Donald Trump repeatedly talked about judges signing “bills.”

It would be easier to list the things that Trump understands.

America
great
terrible
winning
China
wall
terrific
loser
Mexico

Repeat.

Your ignorance of Cruz’ history is showing...
As ignorance seems to be a keystone of trump’s platform I applaud your exemplary embodiment of the cause.

"Much more to my liking to have many different plans to chose from."

That's why I like the free market solutions stated by Cruz and Rubio in their answers, and also stated in my post. The incoherent rambling by Trump about "the lines" in his answer as well as his public statements THIS WEEK ALONE that he wants to keep the mandate in Obamacare, lead me to believe that his "solutions" will be a disaster. This one topic alone is reason to keep him away from the presidency.

Yes, look how well the experts in the Republican majority Congress has done for us...

Why would we choose someone worse?

Not near as ignorant as those in power. Those in power have taken this nation to the point of bankruptcy, financially and morally. That is 100% ignorance.

I like your response. We have such losers in the White House and Congress now. Such smart people!

Cruz has been a lawyer. What have lawyers done for America since 1988?

P.S. I don’t like lawyers.

Thanks for playing.

Can you imagine what a laugh riot a Trump inaugural address or a Trump State of the Union address would be like?

That gives him an edge over Hillary. The other thing going for him in the general is that he might appoint a good judge by accident.

Lawyers have both protected and reapplied many of our 2nd amendment rights.

A lawyer is like a gun. They are tools used by the good and bad alike. When you need one, you want one that is reliable, accurate, and precise.

I don’t have to like my gun. I don’t want one that just looks good. I need to know that it’s on target and has the ammo necessary to accomplish whatever is needed.

... the criticism of Trump has become so petty and biased that I discount it in advance.

Agreed. I have yet to read a screed against Trump, and there is a blight of them on this thread, that has an merit. They are all personal attacks of precisely the type made against Reagan. The bottom line is Trump is the only one in the race, left or right, who has the management skills and the predisposition to dig this country out of the abyss into which it has plummeted.

Poor analogy. At least with a well-made firearm i can trust that when I pull the trigger the gun will not only fire, but the bullet will strike its intended target and not me.

“How Ignorant Is Trump?”

If you have to ask, the situation is probably much worse, from your point of view, than you believe it to be already.

Being ignorant is a sort of hallmark of every Presidential candidate. They are all ignorant of some aspect of the world, that is why they hire smart people to tell them those things they do not know.

Johnson had Robert McNamara, Nixon and Ford had Henry Kissinger, Carter had Cyrus Vance, Reagan had Alexander Haig and George Shultz. Areas in which you have limited or no experience, you hire somebody to pick up the slack and give you a bridge to reality. Sometimes the bridges are LESS capable than just stepping and taking over yourself, but from experience comes wisdom.

Cruz is a lawyer. I want to see him used as a lawyer. Not a president at this point. Or Senator, there’s an idea. One of the most powerful 101 people in the country. Yet some turn up their nose at it, like the lightweight Rubio.
