There was a time when the press served a crucial role in society by covering abuse & corruption. These days, they have been in bed with the body politic and no longer serve that crucial role.

Defense of the first amendment is only secondary to the 2nd amendment.

Defense of the media on the other hand...well, they get what they deserve.

Cruz, imo, shines brighter on the 2nd amendment than does Trump, but, regardless, the 1st amendment would be hampered if the Donald gets his way [according to the link I previously posted].
