NAACP wants more regulations for police stun gun use (New Haven)

A civil rights advocacy group called for more regulations regarding the use of Tasers by police.
The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People's New Haven branch said a man died this week following a crash and an altercation with emergency responders.

Thomas Lane was involved in a crash on Interstate-95 in West Haven Monday, according to state police.
When troopers arrived at the scene, they said Lane was stuck in his car with a head injury. As they tried to help him, they said he became combative and hurt a first responder.
A trooper used his Taser on Lane and Lane was taken to the hospital. He later died there.
The medical examiner will be conducting an autopsy to determine his cause of death.
The NAACP said Lane is the 18th person since 2005 to die after being shocked by police in Connecticut.
It said that number points to a greater need for transparency and oversight regarding Taser use in the state.

Sooo the NAALCP is mad that the perp fought a first responded and got tasered as a result. Of course they know why he died even before the Medical Examiner has done a autopsy.

A taser is not a stun gun! Stun guns fire bean bags. I developed the Stun Gun back in 1969.

NAACP needs to go out in their own communities for a while and try to build and maintain safe living conditions.
They might end up shooting more of the little demons than the cops do.
