The chief of the National Park Service knew his book project would be squelched by agency ethics officers, so he went ahead and wrote it anyway without bothering to ask for permission, investigators said Thursday in a report detailing a striking level of negligence.

Jarvis can’t be in charge of ethics now because they found he doesn’t have any.
He should be fired for this and for making the shutdown as difficult as possible for taxpayers on the National Mall.

Another government employee who thinks that self-examination means looking at your belly button.

The Interior Department, which oversees the park service, said it will issue a reprimand to Director Jonathan B. Jarvis, and said he's too tainted to oversee his agency's ethics policies for the rest of his time in office. So he gets a frowny face on his record and works a little less hard until he decides to retire? Gotta love a federal job. I guess he feels invincible since he helped bammy screw over the citizens during his government shutdown tantrum.

Anyone pulling these kind of stunts in private business or corporations would have been fired so fast they couldn’t clean out their desk, no so in the Fed hierarchy.

SOB is a lickspittle demonrat, obamaumaoite. He closed the Veteran’s memorials in DC— tried to. He also closed the Blue Ridge Parkway and the concessionaires (none of which required any part of his budget to keep open, since the rangers were still being paid— to do nothing).

That wouldn’t surprise me at all, I’m sure they look for the indoctrinated tree huggers and animal rights crowd.
