I just saw pictures of that, but not the live version! Very exciting. I hope the poor little thing doesn’t blow away right after being hatched. LOL!
Good evening, ML...((HUGS))...have you told Blue about your move? That he has his own lodging?
Has Lynn-Dah visited her new home?
Hope you continue to be snow free.
NO heaters, we’ve been told!! I will use a blankie and fuzzy slippers if needed.
I better not see a mucky muck with one!!!
One break room for the whole floor...ice? I used to bring it from home, and can do it again. d:o)
And no personal little fridges. I’ve had one for us payroll peeps, but I’ll take mine home.
And the first communique from the new building....”the parking lot is ICY. Be sure to wear spikies.” (The parking lot is NOT flat. *sigh*
LANDING APPROACH
An F-35C Lightning II, carrier variant, joint strike fighter, approaches the USS Nimitz to land, during operations in the Pacific Ocean, Nov. 3, 2014.
I just got lucky and pulled the site up at the right moment this evening.
Momma won’t let the owlets blow off. Once the first one hatches, she won’t leave the nest much at all for a while. She’ll have to stay put to keep them warm.
The poor eagles at Rome, GA had it a lot worse the past two days. Wind AND a lot of rain. But the eaglets stayed dry, thanks to “Mombrella”. She kept her wings spread out over the nest. But, ooooooh, did she look like an unhappy eagle.
Thanks. When I was maybe 12, I could identify just about every common military plane in the world.
Now I just have a vague idea of what is what.
Good evening, Luv...always remembering for sure!
Those prayers for safety are so needed, since their ROE have at least one arm tied behind their backs.
These mamas sacrifice a lot for their little ones. We could take lessons from them!
Does the mama owl realize that she has a baby that is almost out of the egg? I haven’t seen her checking that much. But of course, I don’t get to watch much either.
Good evening, Janey...((HUGS))...how was your “trip” to SFO and LA?
Well, you did good.
So they’re sticking to the no heaters deal, huh? That stinks. Yeah, a mucky-muck shows up with one, all bets are off!
One break room for the WHOLE FLOOR?? And no personal little fridges? I hope they aren’t charging much rent since they don’t seem to offer much but closet space.
Maybe you should wear ice skates to and from the car. At least adds a little fun in the day. LOL
I will be so glad when we have a president who has their best interests at heart! The past 7 years have been devastating to our troops.
It can be tough watching sometimes but we tend to think in human terms. I know I do. But they’re used to this and come through like troopers.
Momma checks all the time. She knows what’s going on down there. Last night, Dad brought a nice rat and Momma has it sitting on the side, waiting to feed it to the owlet once it hatches.
Multiple windows, girl! LOL! The only way to watch these nests! I’ve been watching Momma since I turned on the computer this evening.
Is THAT ever the truth!!!!!
I know. I sometimes have a problem maintaining all those windows. LOL! Plus, I’m trying to watch the townhall in Houston with Megyn Kelly, too.
We DO learn to multitask, don’t we? :)
Should be interesting. OK, I have another box packed, and stuff to take home, so I am off!!
Back later.
I just do 3 windows and have no problem. It’s all in how they’re situated on the screen. :-)
I’m watching the season finale of Code Black. Looking forward to it coming back later on. Good show.
I haven’t watched a townhall or debate yet. My mind’s been made up for a long time. :-)
“Interesting” isn’t exactly the word I’d use but this is a family forum. :-)
