Yeah, basically the same thing happened to that pi$$ called Fosters. It’s the Bud of Australia and now brewed in the US. All the Yanks drank that swill down there because, well because. I became a micro brew connoisseur and like the stuff that’s brewed here now. My fallback would be Sam Adams and the like but not touching Coors Light (UGH) or any mass produced commercial light beer. My first all round choice is Alaska Amber followed by Stella Artois from Belgium.

I like the stuff brewed by a local Big Island brewer, Kona Brewing Co. Best on tap, seems they have to ship it to the mainland to get it bottled, never tastes as good (duh!) and the price goes way up. Same with other good local Hawaiian beers.
