A federal judge on Tuesday ruled that State Department officials and top aides to Hillary Clinton should be questioned under oath about whether they intentionally thwarted federal open records laws by using or allowing the use of a private email server throughout Clinton’s tenure as secretary of state from 2009 to 2013.

The decision by U.S. District Judge Emmet G. Sullivan of Washington came in a lawsuit over public records brought by Judicial Watch, a conservative legal watchdog group, regarding its May 2013 request, for information about the employment arrangement of Huma Abedin, a longtime Clinton aide.

A State Department official said that the department is aware of the order and that it is reviewing it but declined to comment further, citing the ongoing litigation.

It took years for Watergate to reach critical mass.

Hopefully this goes nuclear by summer.

Time is of the essence.

But would an indictment keep her from running for pres. Innocent till proven guilty and all that. Plus a compliant media telling us that it is a partisan witch hunt and not a real violation of the law..........

Did she not recently state that she would run regardless of any indictment?

Watergate took so long because Nixon committed no crime.

Not yet!

I really do want her to win the nomination first so Trump can win over the disaffected Bernie voters then clean her clock.

Hillary typically makes a call or two and the problem goes away. Judges, agencies, whole branches of government take a hike for Hillary.

"But would an indictment keep her from running for POTUS."

No problem, the Dem's can choose Jeb! and Christy as POTUS and VPOTUS at their Convention, after all, they are now available ;-)...

Ordinarily I would say it depends on how her being indicted is polling, but she will be so desperate if she is indicted that I think she will run hoping to stay out of jail.

Nah, Indict. No questioning. Just indict and take her to court. This is America, where everybody gets their day in court. Hillary has no exception in this. She must have her day in court. Doomsday for her

Mmmmm.....no. From the break-in (6/19/72) to Nixon's resignation (8/9/74) was just under 26 months.

As far as the FBI is concerned, yes, I still believe there is some integrity left there. As far as an indictment, I believe Justice would have to issue that, and neither soetoro, nor his bootlicker Lynch will authorize it.

“Did she not recently state that she would run regardless of any indictment?”

Although I am sure HRC will run even if she’s indicted, I doubt she has said that because she has not been conceding there’s even a real issue at the heart of the investigation.

Hillary typically makes a call or two and the problem goes away.

Even judges fear a visit to a resting place in Fort Marcy Park.
