The GOPe-RAT-WEASELS woke up, crawled out of their respective holes and saw the shadow of Trump.

“So, let us insert Cruz for Trump in the above article. How much different it would be. Almost imperceptible.”

I get your point. I disagree. They would successfully destroy Trump, joining Hillary to do it. It’s what they do.

That’s one reason for trumps success. People know very well GOPe sends minions in to throw these elections and destroys those who won’t cooperate

Trump they wil never control

smear campaign like they did to Cruz

Odd that you would say that, given that Cruz just had to fire his comms director over his latest shenanigans.

My point was, this article is simple boilerplate.

All you need to do is change the names, modify the date, and insert quotes from different people, and voila!!!

You will see it retreaded several times over the summer and fall.

“Let’s hope when the chips are down, which will be very soon, enough Cruz/Carson supporters can get behind Trump to beat RubiOS.”

You might get some of Carson’s few dozen or so supporters, but no way will the Orange Moron get Cruz supporters!

It seems clear Cruz could approach trump and support him for almost any position he wants. I suggest he do it while he still has leverage.

Trump is not a disaster for GOPe. Trump will not replace any party leadership. He already said he gets along with them, it is Cruz who is unliked.

You know the GOPe is at the end of their rope when the only reason they can cite for supporting their candidate de jour is “electability.” They are lining up behind a young guy with no real record of accomplishment (other than defeating and sparing us Charlie SunTan in the Senate).

They are telling us how “electable” Rubio is when he hasn’t won jack yet in the primaries. They see the need to get rid of Cruz because when matched up 1 on 1 with Trump, Rubio will win by a mile!! And where do they get this information? Why, from an NBC poll. The same MSM who tells them Cruz and Trump are toast in the general. Yeah, we all know that MSM wants us to nominate the most “electable” candidate. There you have the GOPe in a nutshell: molded, shaped, directed and controlled by the MSM.

As for Trump, I can get behind him but can also see the risks. What will he be? A guy who has been a closet conservative, hiding his views so as not to harm his businesses that exist and depend on the liberal entertainment industry? Or will he turn out to be Arnold and/or Jesse, a populist who will campaign against the powers that be and then turn out to be a squish to the whims of the media guided masses? These are legitimate questions and I don’t blame anyone for having doubts, especially since Donald tends to blurt out some things that give rise to suspicion.

As for Cruz, I do not doubt Ted’s conservative credentials one bit. I find it silly that some in here are nitpicking who he married or distorting his Senate record. Still, he has his warts. His sleazy politician tactics are not playing well which made his victory in Iowa somewhat pyrrhic.

The GOPe are most afraid of Trump in the general because it is noted in another thread that Sanders voters tend to support Trump over Hitlery. This is the anti vote in their own party. In the GOP, the anti Trumpsters will probably sit out.

The fact Trump will garner a good number of independents makes them really nervous about his chances verses the felon. So give Trump a good number of the dem protest Hitlery vote and give Hitlery very few acknowledged GOPe who will vote for her. According to FOX recent poll, Trump wins 46-41.

This is what happens when you constantly campaign on fixing the problems. Then, after you are elected; you proceed to force crap sandwiches on everyone instead of even attempting to keep your promises.

"Well soon the party will be over for these quislings.

I'd like to think that, but is it that easy? Assume Trump wins and serves for 8 years, what changes in the party leadership itself?

At this point, after observing this campaign, I think that Cruz is disliked on a personal level. They don't like Cruz, but he is a career politician. He would have owed plenty of favors if he had won, after amassing 100+ million in Super PAC money. Controlling every branch of government, the globalists would keep singing the same song they always have. "We can't deport. It's too hard. It's politically toxic." Blah blah frickin' blah.

Also, I don't think the RNC powers that be have ever seen Ted Cruz as a nationally electable candidate. Not saying they were right or wrong about that, they were wrong about Trump too, but I'm guessing now that Trump has a shot at winning, they realize that they were wrong in at least one case.

Trump, it's the opposite. Trump is approachable, and will listen to what anyone has to say, but he is beholden to no one, so he does what he wants. (The Giuliani interview recently, Rudy even said sometimes Trump takes his advice, sometimes he doesn't.)

Bottom line, Trump isn't going to owe anyone any "favors" or quid pro quo for accepting millions of globalist dollars. THAT is why they fear him more.

Well at least for 8 years Trump would kick their worthless hides into passing some decent legislation and rolling back all the Obama craziness.

Some post how many votes Trump is NOT getting and point to those as he future demise.

However, his delegate count is in line with his standings in many of the states:

Out of 103 total cumulative delegates [Ia, NH, SC - Trump picked up one more from NH that Rubio lost],

Trump 68 or 66%

Cruz 11 or 11%

Rubio 9 or 9%

==

Today, 30 more delegates will be added from Nevada.

So, let us insert Cruz for Trump in the above article. How much different it would be. Almost imperceptible.

You just don't get it.

Other than Trump, the others, including Cruz, air AMNESTY-LITE.

At the midnight hour Cruz and Rubio are trying to act tough on "illegal immigrants." All too transparent. Good bye. They are nice guys, just not what the voters want, which is the inside-the-beltway folks G-O-N-E.
