His objective is not to grow the government because he thinks it’s good. He’s trying to burden it to the point it collapses because he hates this country and wants to see it descend into total chaos. Because only then can the failures of his father, and in fact of his whole ideological structure be justified. As long as the U.S. is prosperous, it shows his true ideology to be a fraud. IMHO.

We lived in the LA area in 1994. We are now following the OJ series on FX as we lived (it was impossible to ignore at the time) that whole mess out there. Watching the reenactment of the slow-speed chase, as OJ had a gun to his own head, all I could say was ‘narcissists don’t kill themselves, they kill other people’. Which brings me back to Obama declaring ‘turns out I’m really good at killing people’. I know this will cause agita in the Trump supporters here, but Trump reminds me of Obama in his treatment of those that disagree with him.....but at least Trump does have many high accomplishments, where the only tangible thing Obama has accomplished is the near destruction of this once great country that he hates.
